Bulo's career started in 1939 under Ranjit Movietone. His initial days in Bollywood were full of struggle and hard work.[citation needed] As he started to work, he met some very big personalities who were very prominent names in music then such as Ghulam Haider, D. N. Madhok, etc. In the early 1940s, Bulo worked in some films as an assistant to Khemchand Prakash. He assisted Khemchand in movies like Tansen, Chandni, Sukh Dukh (1942), and Shahenshah Babar (1944).[citation needed] He sang his first playback song "Ruth Na Pyaar Mein" under Khemchand in the film Mehmaan (1942). Though he was an assistant music director, he composed the song "Dukhiya Jiyara" in the film Tansen, sung by Khursheed. The song's credit went to Khemchand Prakash, the composer of that soundtrack. In 1943, he was an assistant to Gyan Dutt in two films- Paigham and Shankar Parvati.[citation needed] Despite him composing the song, it was credited as a Gyan Dutt composition. However, he managed to sing in six films that year.[citation needed]
His first film as a composer was Caravan (1944). The same year, he sang in the film Pagli Duniya.[citation needed] In that film, he changed his name temporarily to Bhola. But later on he sang many songs under this name till the end of his career. But he continued as Bulo C Rani for music direction. In 1945, he composed songs in films like Moorti and Pehli Nazar. Moorti was a popular musical and Mukesh sang one of his first hit songs in the film, "Badariya Baras Gai Us Paar".[4] Rani's other hits in the forties include Rajputani (1946) and Anjuman (1948). His best work to date came in the early 1950s - Jogan (1950), Wafa (1951), and Bilwamangal (1954). Bilwamangal was one of his last soundtracks which contained classic songs of Suraiya and C. H. Atma. The songs of that film became popular with one number in particular, "Hum Ishq Ke Maron Ko", which was sung by Suraiya with lyrics by D. N. Madhok.[5] As the new generation of composers like Shankar Jaikishan, Salil Chowdhury, and O. P. Nayyar became prominent in Indian cinema, Bulo was no longer as active by the late 1950s. However, he continued to compose for films till the mid-sixties. Some of his songs in this period were hits such as "Humein Toh Loot Liya" (Al Hilaal, 1958), "Mangne Se Jo Maut Mil Jati" (Sunehre Qadam, 1966)

I must say you made extraordinary efforts to present this compilation on Bulo C Rani. It needs a lot of guts to try to do such a difficult job. You deserve a, lot of accolades.
बहुत ही दुरभागय की बात है। इसी बात से पता चलता है कि भागय के हाथों में होती है कामयाबी या नाकामी। इतने अच्छे संगीतकार होने के बाद भी उचित मुकाम नहीं पा सके। और अंत भी दुखद हुआ ।भाग्य जिन पर मेहरबान होती है वो कहते हैं। मैने सब कुछ अपनी मेहनत से पाया है। लेकिन वो यह नहीं जानते कि उनसे भी ज्यादा मेहनत करने वाले और ज्यादा टैलेंनट रखने वाले जीवन में असफलता ही हाथ लगती है। मैंने बहुत संगीतकारों विषय में सुना है। संगीतकार बुलो सी रानी के विषय में पहली बार सुना। अलहेलाल फिल्म की कौववाली तो बहुत अच्छी और बहुत मशहूर है। ईश्वर उनकी आत्मा को शांति दे।
दुखभरी कहानी है।ए मोहिंदर भी जानकर थे लेकिन उनको कोई याद नही करता।

Abridged surname became undoing of Bulo C Rani. This talented music director remains unknown amongst Sindhi community. Even today he is considered Parsi composer.

Aap ke is video ki jitni taarif ki jaye kam hai. Isme bahut durlabh jankari aur geet hai. Aise videos se sab Tak jankari pahuchti hai. Dam nahi tha music mein.jab Shankar jai Kishan, Naushad jaise music director aap ke competitor ho aisa music aapni maut mar jayega.Har poorani chez jarrori nahi Acha ho.Bollywood ka best Qawali yeh isq hai yeh isq hai from barsaat ki raat ko mana jaata hai .music directed by Roshan.
