I’ve used simbrief for a long time, and I have created over time, various airframes.
With that, I’ve done research into engine make and models, Serial and Mode-S numbers, seating configurations, MTOW’s etc.
Really, really useful for when keeping things as realistic as possible!

When I paste the route, my IF does not decode the airway designators correctly, making the actual route a mess with waypoints that have names similar to the airway designators on the other side of the globe. Do you have a setting so that it decodes them correctly? Cheers!

Hallo again Dan. I have a few more questions: does Simbrief give you specific V speeds according to the total weight you enter. If not, no worries - I can autofill in the IF assistant app. And lastly, how can I figure out how much extra fuel I need for my flight and how much flight time a certain amount of fuel lasts for - e.g. how much flight time does 2.0 last for ?

I am new to this. I have Infinate Flight Pro and have no idea how to do a flight plan. You recommend Simbrief as a flight planning tool. I watched the video and it looks pretty straight forward. Is this available in the App Store or is there a website? I intend on watching your video a few times to make sure I understand. Does IF have airways implemented? It looked like it just skipped from the first waypoint in each airway to the last, without all of the waypoints in between.

I got a problem. I make the flight plan and notice some waypoints have set altitudes but when I turn on ap and Vnav for climb, it does not pass those altitudes at all on climb. How do I fix this?

Sometimes it can be hard to follow all the details when you're watching this type of video on a small screen. At around 8:45 you say to tap the "Add To Flight Plan" button, but where is it? I don't see it anywhere on my screen, and I can't catch how you do this in the video.
ETA: I just watched this on a larger tablet. Now I can see what you did, but instead of "Add To Flight Plan" I have "Select"; that sounds like it ought to do the same thing, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I'm not seeing the first steps of my flight plan on the screen.

When I search simbrief I’m google it says “sign in” put I pressed the account buttoned then I signed in but the stuff were not the same as yours and it didn’t show me the fuel and mostly everything, espiecally the paperwork preview

Why do I not have that routing part
Hi Dan, I followed your tutorial and it worked. However, when I start flying using my flight plan the plane just keeps going around in circles instead of following the flight plan. Do you know why this is happening and how I can fix it?
Hi Armaan Behal, A cause this happened is because for example your flight is straight and all of a sudden, the vector is turned to 90 degrees and if the vector is short, it will keep spinning until it corrects the pathway. I recommend making straight pathways and not very curvy lines so you can get some clean and smooth take off. P.S when your landing in an airport you might have to curve the vector, do NOT curve the vector too much. Make is a bit short in vectors when you turn so its smooth.
