In Seoul, the street stall registration process has been established for the past 5 years to solve tax evasion and sanitation issues, and a lot of attention has been paid to the removal of illegal street stalls. Now, it is difficult to find illegal street stalls in major tour areas. You can see the stalls are all neat and organized in a common design. In addition, in Myeong-dong, corporate-like street stalls are not allowed, and only livelihood stalls (one store per person) are allowed.
