More information on the game :
- Skill tree got removed due to players stressing out about using their points efficiently, you'll now have access to every skill you could unlock at that level and will be able to change build easily by swapping those skill if your party needs something else.
- There is no weapon upgrade anymore because they want you to feel good when you craft a new weapon after farming and not feel bad that your old upgraded weapon is better than your new weapon you were exicted about because you didn't upgraded it yet.
Now, what happens when you craft a weapon is that you have a chance to great success it. Normal success allow you to add a single attachment to the weapon, with a great success you have a chance to unlock up to 4 sockets. The tickets you can buy will improve the chance of getting a great success, as far as I know we don't know if the chance to get more socket will improve too yet, we only know that the great success chance will improve.
- You can only use a limited amount of rewards improvement/day. This will help people that play with friends but cannot play as much as them make up for the difference if not too big. (we can imagine a situation where I can do 10 dungeons a day where all 10 have rewards improvement and my friends that can play more will do 15 dungeon with the 3 rewards improvement).
- Bandai have stated that they won't accept to do modification that will change the japanese spirit of the game. (whatever that means)

@@bakamimusic7440 I would love a scenario in which anyone is able to go through the story and enjoy the world. But beyond that, I would like to see some hardcore dungeons where you have to learn boss mechanics in order to get to the rarest of the rare materials for the sake of being one of the few people that get their hands on a truely powerful weapon or armor set that is locked behind skill. Something like FF xiv.
But I am pretty sure that the game is going to be pretty easy in order to grow a huge playerbase just like Genshin.

@@mas7rreaper126 not if it says in their contract that they can't. Also the devs for Blue Protocol said they couldn't so I'm sure there's a clause in the contract that says they can't. Blue Protocol devs said any publisher needs to ask the devs for the change if they say no the changes can't be made since Bandai Namco wants all servers to be the same as the Japanese server
This comment section (specifically cnkfe) needs to watch Asmongold's reaction to the BP monetization because he knows alot more about how Amazon Games has handled Lost Ark, New World, and now (Unconfirmed monetization) Blue Protocol than most since he's played both games.

It's probably my favorite mmorpg and just now getting into black desert which is also great so far. You should showcase them on the channel.
Look anime games with character creation is like an instant buy for me. Why? I don't know, name one Brown main male character with white hair called Jason... yeah didn't think so.
But besides that, I know with character creation comes a lot of lacking factors with the game... No seriously just look at One Punch Man AHNK and Made In Abyss BSFID. Slap a character creation addition into a game and let graphics, gameplay, and story be mediocre as hell. Why? Because suckers will pay good money to see themselves in an anime game.
But I really hope Blue Protocol is turn out great with all its core factors... (Besides its microtransaction gimmick which I'm sure is gonna be hell)

Gunslinger was found within the game and most likely will be released upon the game release, granted i could be wrong but the stuff that came points to it. It also makes sense since it means we got three melee and three range

Dragon raja was the 1st anime mmo I played, then went to tower of fantasy, but seeing this will make me enjoy it more than both, already excited to do all classes

People said that it's not an MMORPG because it's not that open world. Just cities and dungeons with co-op playing like Monster Hunter. To whoever has tried this game, please confirm if this statement is right or wrong. Thanks in advance.
Is it going to be on the old gen like PS4 and Xbox one? I was looking at the Xbox store and it said Xbox one and Xbox series x/s. So I'd assume yes? But anywhere else it says otherwise. I'm confused.

One thing wasn't mentioned was, your not confined to one class. Once unlocked, you can switch your class, even carry over some skills from other classes.

I never really stick to MMORPG's for long (I always get bored eventually and when I eventually come back I spend all my time trying to catch up to new content before getting bored again) but I'm still gonna give this game a shot. It looks fun. Hopefully there really will be no pay-to-win.

P2W systems have me drop the games pretty fast, but i'm no stranger or opponent to in-game shops done well. We all have our own lines in the sand that we won't touch when it comes to what we will pay for, and another line in the sand about what we will even play with. I hope they don't cross that line where most people won't even entertain playing the game anymore cuz of the shop. Cuz this game looks pretty cool.

I'm really excited for this game but at the same time i'm sad because it isn't also available on PS4, it really looks like a game that should be on all platforms instead of only being limited to next gen as people like me still have a difficult time trying to find a PS5 after 2 years, i really hope they arrive at a point where they also port Blue Protocol on last gen systems as well so the people who still haven't got the next gen systems can give it a try.

idk what class should i get between archer and mage, it looks like player will avoid the mage out of all class. since all it does is deal damage that can also be seen on other class, i wish it's damage surpass other damage type class. for it to be needed. since it doesn't have barrier or aoe cc. hmm i just dk if it also has does then it ends the topic. i really hate archers on all games so i wish i became a mage on this game and not fall to the archer class.

whenever someone says deeper customization, in actuality its just turns out to be a standard stuff with some a slider with similar & very limited selection (from mmo - rpg). I've played all game that offer/ advert as deep char customization but never once able to do so, & one thinks I see lack on in all this game's long hair for male

I really wanted to play Lost Arc. However, because of all the P2W features I never even tried it out once it came out. Seems Blue Protocol will fall into that same fate.

Lost Ark's P2W features really depend on how patient you are. I've played since launch and never used my card to swipe for anything. My roster is fairly high with me doing the minimum most of the time. If you come into the game now expecting to run the latest raid then you will have to spend some cash but that should be expected in any MMO. New players will never be able to just drop into the latest endgame. I will say having friends who play it already greatly shortens how long things can take since they can just give you materials to help you advance.

It is good. But there is hardly any content and the story is written by a 3rd grader.
I can say as a lost ark player that Amazon isn't doing the best job with the game. Game has had server disconnects for a month now that show no sign of getting fixed and has a major bot issue. Bots flooding the market making it hard for players to use the in game market at all at times. You would be hard pressed not to run into twenty obvious bots just running together on their programmed loop. The most annoying part is instead of trying to end bots at the source by stopping the programs that run them Amazon thinks its a smarter idea to hinder how much stuff bots can do as if that actually derails them enough to stop making more bot accounts. It instead just hinders the playerbase. This makes me a bit worried for blue protocol .
There's not enough classes to make enjoyable full raids -_-'
Well a free2play game especially an MMO will definitely have p2win stuff and in this game it won't be different I'm sure of that 100% .
This video gave me so much red flags, still, glad the game is coming soon and ill definitely try it, but im keeping my expectations extremely low from this point on and see how it goes
If you are worry about the extra rewards tickets its nothing more than a bit of time saver for those who are busy with life, since there is no limit to how many times you can access the dungeon. Gacha is tide to cosmetic, the game is a service title so its expensive to keep servers up. Only red flag I found so far is that weapon enhancement might be a bit play to win, but that's if enhancement give you a huge power spike.
@@offlinechaos7912 stop making the excuse for the ticket system. The majority of players that will be using them are whales. It's blatantly p2w. I don't care if it's a little advantage or not it's just the fact it's even in the game in the first place. Gacha systems for cosmetics are fine I dont really care about that. Adding in these systems that are obviously targeting whales just because it's free to play is lazy and bad game design.
@onticly5853 I don't think u have been involved in game development before. SIMPLY put free games are not free man, nobody does something for free and u know it. A game needs to make money and they need to pay their devs. Unless u have a less "p2w" idea to make money. Live service games like Blue Protocol are especially expensive so they need to make money somehow. I usually would just keep my words to myself, but as someone who's a hardcore mmorpg player and involved in the development industry its just hard for me to keep quiet with all this f2p and p2w drama. Trust me I have seen my fair share of games and this game looks like a baby compare to how p2w other games are (black desert for example). And btw tickets only acts as a pay for time mechanic, your paying for grinding less (as the ticket gives you bonus dungeon rewards) so you are paying for a chance to get better rewards which others f2p player can grind more for. This is mainly targeted for causal players who have a life (family and work) and help them catch up to those who are more hardcore. If you think about it f2p players trades their time to get better rewards and p2w players trades money (which they trade their time for to get) for more rewards. It's pretty much the same thing as long as the monetization is fair, which it is in the case of this ticket thing.

The devs at Bandai Namco said they want all publishers servers to be the same so Amazon or any publisher needs to ask them if they can change stuff first. The way they'll decide it is "Does a Japanese mmo needs these changes? Would Japanese players be happy with those changes?" if the answer is no they will reject the changes which means the publishers in this case Amazon is forbidden from doing them, maybe there's a clause about this in the contract
Blue Protocol feels like it was supposed to be a Single Player game like Tales of Arise based on the trailee, but they changed it to be a MMORPG for the money in the long run. Still going to play it, it looks fun I hope.

They wont have any pay to win, they said the things you will be able to buy will be all achievable by playing the game, they just want something to have for players who dont have that amount of time, being able to buy something to keep up the progress with people who have much time on them. People keep talking bs about the p2w part.
Im far more afraid of Amazon censoring the game, they did mention censoring it for EU and NA, which is ridiculous again as always. If anything, Amazon might harm the game more as anything else.

Looks to me the game might be more similar to monster hunter than a MMO so i doubt a real tank will be in the game. Monster hunter has tank like weapons but the game has no real roles.
