A reminder that Tenz himself said that he's the best NA Yoru only because he's the only one playing him. When you consider Eggster, Red and Ziptie, the better question would be WHY Yoru isn't being played in pro. Even without the fakeouts and risky plays, which literally every duelist have risky plays, he's a force to be reckoned with.
i see yoru as double edged sword agent all his util could go against him XD
Yoru adds another layer to the mental duels and decision making. The even the slightest difference in experience can cause a win or a lose on that play
@@grastatura I don't get that. Arguably, any util that isn't dynamic can be used against yourself, if you know what you're doing, more than the enemy.
I'm assuming you're assuming Yoru just gets TP camped and dies, but a good Yoru wouldn't in the first place. At least, not often.
ziptie’s plays are insane, pro play could get wild if they started doing stuff like that

Im kinda late to the party but this is why yoru has the highest skill ceiling as a duelist. You could be entry with flash + tp combo. You could also be first contact and get out like a chamber( I admit its a bit slower but its possible. Watch prx vs fnatic vct master copenhagen when they raze + yoru). The ult gives you an unkillable sova drone. Lastly when he is used properly its like psycologically torchuring the enemy teams to know where the hell yoru is. The problem is because of this high ceiling that he really isn't picked a lot. The tp, flash and fake clone he have can be tricky to master, lastly his pacing and the playstyle is unique to his character that it is hard to build around.
When the yoru player sucks, he could be a liability. But when this player is very good at it, bro can be the most annoying agent to play against.
So hes a gimmicky char like mirage
