I just so happened to cover the E unit while it was still part of the TVRM in an early episode of my locomotive documentary series, Remarkable Engines. The video covered the history of five E units that were leased by the Metro North commuter railroad.
Man I've been seeing that E8 since I can remember and when the TCRM got there F7A Restored it stopped coming to town, I always wondered if that locomotive got scraped. good to know its still around.
It happens to me when I saw a approach limited signal and I heard a horn but did not see the train and all of sudden the gates went down and I tried to get the best shot from there?

Literally 6 hours later from 9:45 AM, led onto the Fitzgerald sub to new orleans. Also me and my mom are ordering a walkie talkie however we don't know which one to get. Can you help us out?
Yo I’m so sorry I’m responding to this five days late. 😭 For one, it’s not a walkie-talkie, it’s a scanner. You’re only listening, you should NOT be speaking over the railroad frequencies. 😂 I’ve heard Baofeng is a reliable product. I suggest you do some online research on them.
Y’all freaking out about a CN gevo and CITX patch? Here that’s daily power to the point most of us have notifications turned off for them! Just shows that different areas get different power at different times
Hey there. CSX classifies different types of trains with their IDs (like an M442 for manifest or an I026 for intermodal). On CSX, B stands for bulk commodity, or a unit train like grain or ethanol. So when I say a “B” train I’m just referring to a unit train on CSX. Hope that helps.
