That electric jellyfish is more commonly called a Portuguese Man of War. They have a venomous sting that kills fish and causes blisters and welts if a person comes in contact with their tentacles, even weeks after they've washed onshore.

Umm this is random but they do have a dollhouse-like Wall shelf at IKEA with like Four rooms in it. You could get One of Them and put on THE wall and decorate with gacha stuff. Put the rilakkuma fridge in the kitchen (of you Still have it). But I dont know the gacha-to-ikea-house-shaped-shelf-ratio though. The name of THE shelf is FLISAN.
You lucky rascals. I can attest that the cocktail bar you guys swung by is one of the best in Tohoku. The bartender is essentially a wizard when it comes to mixing and blending the flavors.

Nerd stuff: The jellyfish is a Portuguese Man o'war, which is one of the most weirdly terrifying creatures in the ocean. It's technically multiple creatures that evolved such that they cannot live without each other, so they are born together but can die separately (they don't live long if separated). The top part is an air-filled balloon that gets pushed around by the wind (it can't swim), and the tentacles can grow to be fifty meters long and they basically just eat whatever wanders into them (again, can't swim). And despite not being able to really move on their own, they can still kill people. So if you see a blue/opal colored balloon in the middle of the ocean, stay at least 50 meters away.
Oh great, floating death balloons...one less reason to go into the ocean. As if I needed another 😅

I believe that is supposed to be a portuguese man o' war. What is really cool about them, is that they are not a single organism, but rather a colony of individual cells that work together. Therefore, they are not jellyfish!

They are also one of the more dangerous ones. Their tentacles are long enough that you can get stung without seeing the body. Also, you can be stung by the carcass if you find a dead one on the beach.

I love vlogs like this where we just ride along. I'm saving up to go to Japan for a week now but its a long process, lol.
Well Japan probably won’t be open to foreign visitors for a while, so at least there’s no rush😅❤️
If it helps any, you can do alot with 10 days in Japan and $3500. And that's if you splurge a lot. The expensive thing is the plane ticket. You can fly red eyes or be flexible on flight dates and can get lucky and get round trip flights as cheap as $900. The cheapest I've had so far was $1100 round trip. Couple layovers. From there you can stay in hostels for cheap, ride the trains for cheap, rent a car for a fairly affordable price, and food and things like these gachas are also cheap. I went to Universal Studios Japan and bought like $600 in merch and the second trip also spent at least $600 on merch at Tokyo One Piece Tower, souvenirs for family and friends, went to Kabuki, (I genuinely am certain I spent $1000 on merch) but if you do simple things, admission is usually $10 at most. I went to the kind of places that were $25-50 for admission and then bought a crap ton of merch and themed food haha. Touristy stuff. But just exploring Japan itself, you can do SOOOOO much with $2000-$3000 and 10 days, probably even a solid 2 weeks. Hell, more if you budget right (I just tend to say "f*ck it and buy everything lol). It took me 6 months working 2 jobs to save up for each trip. Put aside a set amount from every paycheck in a seperate savings account. Just pay your bills, set a grocery budget, and what's left ends up being a lot over time. Hope any of this helps and I hope you have a wonderful time in Japan!
Edit: in fact I just checked and rn the cheapest accommodation is $218 for 30 days, and the cheapest flight it's showing me for my locations is $884 round trip. So $1100 would cover a 30 day visit for lodging and plane ticket. : ) then you just need money for food and travel and whatever else you so desire.
Recently flights to Japan for next year are around 600~ from the east coast, we booked with air Canada for April of next year round trip with 1 layover in Toronto for $550! I know travel isn’t guaranteed for next year but it’s a great price and some airlines are letting you change dates later on so it’s worth it for us but even before quarantine, sometimes flights to Japan would drop to 700-800 which is a great time to buy. Hope this helps :)

I think the jellyfish is supposed to be a Portuguese Man o’ War. One of the most venomous jellyfish out there with tentacles growing as long as 30 feet.
I thought the same thing. Every summer we see blue bottles along the surf line and they are exactly that “Gyoza” shape.
Fun fact: man o' wars are not actually jellyfish, but something like a collective of organisms that cannot exist independently :)

New favorite youtube channel! Love it :D :D. I've ordered several of the Japan Crate boxes and think the Gacha Gacha one is my favorite. The Kira Kira one was pretty cool but they discontinued it. I still need to get the stationary one but looking forward to the next gacha one. The last one came with this game with a plastic egg and there's like 10 slots around it. You push the top of the egg down and take turns putting plastic pieces into the slots then one of the slots makes the top of the egg fly off. I think I've lost like 8 out of 10 times playing. My favorite gacha I got while in Japan was these jelly fish that had led's in them and lit up a bunch of colors when you squeezed them. It was at that moment that I never wanted to leave Japan. I will be back though! It's just a matter of where to put all the gacha once you get them! Happy gacha getting!
When you said you were finally going to get to try the earl grey cocktail I was like "now watch they're not gonna have it anymore" but it turns out it's a custom drink! How cool! Thank you for telling us what is in it so I can try to recreate it at home 😁 it sounds delicious!

Man....I miss Japan so much. Lived in Nagano in 96/97 just before the olympics. Loved it. Loved learning the language, culture, going to high school as a foreign exchange student. Have never had the opportunity to return, as life just went in different directions. Thank you for this channel and sharing your awesome opportunity to work/live there with all of us.

One of my cats gets “cat pimples” too! My vet said that some cats get it from chewing on or drinking out of plastic and he started developing it after we switched to one of those plastic watering bowls. The vet said that’s most likely what trigged it. He said it’s a pretty rare thing
One of my cats had this issue, but it cleared up after switching to ceramic bowls. bye bye plastic bowls!
