Great vid! I want that set up
Yessir!
Its a blast!
To be honest, I believe this suppressor has helped me with accuracy when on my walther p-22, ive been able to produce sub 2" groups from 11 yards with rem bulk.
As far as the video goes, I should have zoomed out with the camera, and gave a better/more realistic perspective, as the zoom makes it look like a shorter distance.
Very nice, you need a golf cart or 4-wheeler for those long trips down range. :)
Great video pistolpeta....I'm jealous of your layout. I have a question for you if you please. I have the same rifle but in 22mag, and I'm contemplating getting the same can, but my question is how do you thread the Spectre II to the barrel? did you have to get it professionally threaded? And I guess if so the front sight is gone forever...yes. any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Thanks brotha!
Its a great rifle, had a blast with it this past thanksgiving.
As for your question, this rifle came from the factory with the barrel threaded for this purpose(Marlin XT-22 RZ), and came without iron sights, just scope mounts. So it is as simple as removing the tread protector, and twisting a can on.
You can get your barrel threaded by professionals (a machine shop or a gunsmith). As far as removing the front sight post, only 7/16" of my barrel is threaded for the suppressor, so unless your FSP is right at the end, then you should have enough room to get it threaded. :)
Who down voted your vid? I thought it was just fine. Waiting on my approval for the spectre II by the ATF myself. Can't wait.
Curious as to what a miss sounds like from downrange.
my other vid has a couple of misses, but you probably made this comment before watching that one
badass set up!
Check out last weekend!
