I remember despairing of the 90s and how much better it was in the early 80s and before.

Some of those ex London Titans came as far north as Scotland and served for many years. Quite a few were acquired by Stagecoach Western in 1995 as a stop gap to upgrade the elderly fleet of their recent acquisition A1 Service until new Olympians were delivered in 1996/97. (They were so desperately needed that they were rushed into service in their old London liveries, complete with London adverts and a lack of blinds) They passed into the main Western fleet and the last one wasn't retired from service until 2008.
Wow! They did really well didn't they? Titan's were well built buses......
Leyland Titans... Buses handed down from London Transport when they started getting accessible buses. I remember old Olympians from London Country showing up in my college town (Aberystwyth) - the same ones I'd travelled to sixth form on two years previously. They even had the seat covers and LT no-smoking signs.

No, sadly this was it. I was chasing after Titans on this trip out. Most had gone so i settles for ex London Scania's...

Love those Northern Counties bodied Scanias.
I was there looking for Titan's but they had been replaced by the Scania's.......so i filmed them instead!
I'm sure them scanias came up north to stagecoach Manchester,think they were based at stockport.
Stagecoach certainly moved their fleets around a fair bit!
Got any of the titans in the Stagecoach United counties fleet please?

I used to drive Scania L113 single deck rear engine buses. They had plenty of go as did these deckers toward the end.
Titans don't look the best in this livery.
I didn't think they looked too bad, it was certainly different to LT red!
@@SoiBuakhaoRoutemasterbus I have a Corgi 1:76 scale Leyland Lynx mark 2 in the Stagecoach scheme and it looks quite good. Haven't looked at it in years. It's packed away.
