Its Adaptation as long as you have 4 off cd and can switch into defense mode you can easily counter and gain up to 70% resistance (what would be great is if you were to get hit in defense mode or hit whilst blocking (whichever one is more balanced) you'll gain mode for those hits as if they were your m1s)

Aint no way, nahhh, defense mode is absolute garbage. I survived so many sukuna domains by just killing the awakened sukuna instead of tanking it with defense. Also youre basically never able to land the parry when ur getting teamed on since it's just .2 sec of parry time instead of something like an easy counter to land. The adaptation ability is pretty bad too, it's better to just worldslash all the teamers than missing ur adaptation or landing the adaptation only for it to not cancel the move so you just got hit by gojo's barrage and ur getting teamed but wait u got -10% dmg wowowowoww so muchhhhhh.
Adaption is just kinda dookie to begin with, no real reason to use it over World Slash (in a 1v1 situation). Attack mode is probably the best if you're fighting teamers. Defense is just dookie.
Not true you can only adapt to one type of move (Melee, bullet type, domain) if you start adapting to a different type it resets the one you adapted to
