  • In this tutorial I'll show you step by step how to create hot chocolate bomb and answer questions like: How do you get the marshmallows inside the chocolate? Do you have to use expensive, high quality chocolate? How do you get it so shiny and how thick does it need to be? What are some fun ways to decorate the bombs? How do you get the most dramatic explosion? How can you gift wrap these?

    Thankyou for this tutorial, do you think I could use compound chocolate or would it not taste as good as the non_compound chocolate?

    • @BritishGirlBakes
      @BritishGirlBakes  Před 3 lety +1

      I haven't tried it but because of the additional ingredients in it, I don't think the bomb would be as shiny as with true chocolate. Most of the flavour comes from the hot chocolate powder so the taste might not be diffferent

  • @VeroAGO
    @VeroAGO Před 3 lety

    I used chocolate melting wafers. they ended up very shinny, but they are quite sweet. Used lucky charms marshmallows and crushed peppermint candy to make different flavors. Beware of the huge mess you will create! Or maybe is just me, never worked with chocolate before.

    I used almond bark Jesus..it is too sweet. Never again. Callubet is expensive. I think will try. Dark, milk chocolate chip or block of chocolate. Any suggestions??

    • @BritishGirlBakes
      @BritishGirlBakes  Před 3 lety +3

      I used a bar of 70% cocoa solids ghiradhelli bittersweet chocolate and it worked really well but 55% cocoa solids in a semisweet bar from Trader Joe's worked almost as well so I don't think you need the most expensive chocolate, just look for 55% cocoa solids or more if you can find it

    • @BritishGirlBakes
      @BritishGirlBakes  Před 3 lety +1

      In bar form, yes, it should, but not the kisses because there are other ingredients added to it to keep it in the drop shape
