Abandoned Holy Ghost Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Insinger, Saskatchewan

Chances are if you have driven down highway 16 in Saskatchewan, you would have seen this church. Along the highway there is the ghost town of Insinger, Saskatchewan. At the edge of town, right beside the highway is this old Ukrainian orthodox church. For years it was sealed up and watched closely by locals but as you know, things change. After many attempts someone broke down the front door and it was not fixed. The church was vandalized quickly and today it is a sad mess. We filmed this video in 2021. I am not a religious person but it is so sad to see these beautiful buildings abandoned. Maybe its time for all of us to think differently and repopulate these buildings and rebuild our communities.
