I can't remember a race with more than 10 people where there wasn't a rammer in there somewhere.

I skipped on lap 1 when Ben was going up ourouge (sorry I can't spell) about a good minute and Ben has only made about 5 meters
Going through El Rouge, up to the Hangar straight. Yep, no sign of intelligent life anywhere.
Just to rant a little more: I'm really starting to dislike F1 2016. I don't mean Bens vids, I mean the actual game. It's too easy to take people out, there are no consequences for doing so, and if *you* get taken out, *you* get a penalty for some weird reason. And to be honest, it really fucks with the mentality of the people that try to race clean at first, but get taken out, and then they start ramming people too, because apparently that's the way you lose the least amount of places. If there's anything I want to see changed in F1 2017, it's that.

Its always been that way. I don't bother racing online, I do a handful at the start of each game to see if its improved, then bun it off after that

i really cant wait for the career mode man. i so want to see what happens next
you have so much skill with all the racing theory; how to manage fuel, tire and brake temperatures, tiremanagement, handeling the throtle etc. also as you where racing in go karts you stood out of the rest with the racing line you have taken.
Try to stay in contact with that GP3 driver or give a racing team a call and ask if you could try to race in a real car for once:)
Even if your request gets denied, you could still say that your subscribers whanted it and so on you won't get yourself into some akward situations with some racing teams. :)
I think this could and will work because you are one of the mayor F1 youtubers. At minimal for this reason some racing stalls would take you for some publicity because people who watch F1 videos of yours are most often also interrested in Motorsport live TV.
Please give it a shot and try it. In you age its still possible to become a succesfull driver and even more with the basic skill that you already bring with you. And If its just a money problem you could do some sponsorships with the Racing teams on your F1 channel. :)
Please try it, there's no reason why you shouldn't take the chance in your position..
Ok.. when it won't work, then it yust isn't meant to. But if it would work and you haven't tryed you would have a missed opportunity for the rest of your life.. And maybe when you are 60 years old you will regred your decision.
Just don't overthink it to much :)
I mean you have one of the most spread fan bases. And definatly one that stands behind you on every jurney you take and won't just 'Unsubscribe' becouse of the content.. there is also humanity involved and not only entertaing.

Ben, serious question here: how long did you take to be competitive with no assists? I'm thinking about going into aor next season because my pace has increased a lot over the last few months, but it would obviously mean learning the game again without medium traction control

Just found your channel (halfway through the video). Are you racing with a wheel or controller? You managed to recover so well from a slide before, so I'm wondering if this game physics is so different from Project Cars. Over here on PCars (controller), everytime my car slides a bit due to oversteer I simply can't recover anymore. I used to be able to recover with a controller on F1 2015, but on PCars it's just impossible. Why is this?
Btw, are you on Xbox? If so, oh well, not our whole community is lost.

Ravi301 Yup. Drifting is almost impossible as well. Seems like the car wheel doesn't turn enough when you're with a controller.
This is why i wish there were no assist only lobbies/sprint modes
Let's go for a lap in Spa. After the Ascari (Turn 1) we go up El Rouge to the Hangar straight. Then there's a hard braking zone for the no go chicane, followed by the famous lock up corner. The next corners are Parabolica, the Loews hairpin and the Max Chilton (snail) section. With a blast down Copse and a corner cut at the last chicane you finish the Belgium Grand PRICK sponsored by the online noob foundation.

We could use these events on PCars. I'm tired of only finding a handful of respectful players. Got pole yesterday on Monza, awesome qualifications, other nice drivers doing good times, and then half of the players decide to use my car as a brake on the first corner. The rest just cut through the tires or the grass. This is so frustrating.

Do some kind of youtuber champinship but only a single race with those guys who are surely want to race cleanly. Like TRL Button, WF1 Kartikheyan, WF' Vettel, TRL Rosberg CZcamsr championship guys(Aarav(I know), Matt, Harry, ITB), AArav's mates(Callum, Tom) and others like them. I know it is hard to have all of them in the same place same time. But that will make an interesting online race
At the moments like these, I think the Grid Autosport "Driver rating" (The exclamation mark, yellow, red, white... You know what I mean probably) could work out in F1 games too - like you could get less matched with red-mark drivers for example...
Still, good race, some action and yeah, "Hangar straight". Okay. :D

I race in real life but I gave up online racing on f1 2016 with general people because everyone just takes everyone out so I only play private lobby's with friends if I'm going to play online

Genuinely don't know why you guys bother racing against subscribers. If you are one of the people that gets the opportunity to race against youtubers and then acts like a complete knobjockey, have a serious think about whether or not you should continue to use the internet

I always get taken out GOOD TRICK: coming up to a car you suspect is going to take you out just pause your game as late as possible and for a split second you basically become indestructible and they bounce off orrrr you ghost & they drive straight through you into walls 😂😂

You call that frustrating? I was doing a race last night at Bathurst on iRacing. Forty minute race, multiclass with Cadillac CTS-V and Kia Optima. I'm from the US and was battling with some Aussies in the Kia on their home turf. Two laps to go and my shifter paddle clicked twice on a downshift going into the cutting. Engine over-revved and blew. Less than two laps left after 40 minutes and I would have had it won! Not to mention I'm second in the championship this season and missed out on what would have been a fantastic boost to my standings. Still can't get over it haha
