Bro, I loved your aviary, and yeah I have read some comment in this video where he was mentioning about growing birds, instead he wants to grow trees and all, I respect his words but the matter is I support you as all these birds are exotic and they can not survive in the out side world, for which you are giving another life and making them live happily, we should appreciate it, different people will have different mind set, don't worry, I was never used to mention comments for any ones videos but I had to put a comment here, because I am a big bird lover and I was upset with his comments, but by putting this comment I feel happy, you are not making any mistake you are giving beautiful life to some (in this case birds) where these birds were caged and not living their natural life (like breeding)😊

I would suggest that we can make a basement with a concrete plane which can have a slight slope so that you can wash the dirt and the rubbish out using a hose, as often you would like and the whole water can be out of the aviary easy enough depending of the bacements rate of the slope.

And as you probably know the bird droppings is considered to be by far the richest ever fertilizer for the plants of a garden.
The bird droppings is very popular to be collected in some desert islands near Antarctic, and it is very precious in soil fertilizers trade.
According to this i think that you could evaluate any loss on your money budget in the long run if you can find some way of using or even selling it to trade.
Can you build a roof for the cage, say, like the roof of a thatched hut ? That would cover the birds from hot sun and also keeps the leaves from staying on top.
I just love the all ur aviary vedios... the birds look so healthy and happy.... . since u mentioned about the summer heat .. I have a small suggestion... I can see. U painted the metal sheets black... u might know... black colour absorbs more light and heat... so the birds might extra hot during the summer. This can be reduced by painting the metal sheets in light colours..
U can also add some more hide outs for the birds for them to escape the heat. Close few more open side panels with coconut leafs 🍃 to escape the heat .. and also add plants outside ... close to the Aviary.. that way u can save the greenery from the birds and preserve the green outlook..

Look I have one suggestion, take it if you feel good.
Tell me what's true love.
Scenario 1. A person who loves flowers and seeing a rose bloom, he plucks it and keep with him.
Scenario 2. A person who take cares the flower &plant and loves to see it grow and obviously he will not pluck but see it fell of its own after it's full cycle.
Similarly these birds are very cute creatures in this world, god has given it equal rights as you and me but not to subjected to die in cage, or prisoned for rest of it's life.
Even am mad about all living things, I used to keep aquarium and killed many fishes , only by my mistake and lack of knowledge but when I learn the art I used to keep it for years but later I felt, by looking at the aquarium I get a lot of satisfaction, peace, love and happiness but did I ever be like those fishes and thought about it's emotions and thoughts (I know dude it has small life cycle and no IQ or memory) but isn't it wrong to keep them in that manner, since we have brain and emotions.
So, if you understand the situation and what I mean pls 🙏.....
Advice. Make a natural existence. I mean use miyavaki technique, make your own forest, it will attract a lots of bird and you may also use bird feeders and bird house so birds feels to come to your house to stay.
This will give you more joy and less tension.

Woow that’s a huge feedback. I totally respect and understand your intentions. I feel it all the time. But these are exotic species which won’t survive outside the cage as local birds will kill them in few minutes. I have a lot of trees around my house any many birds comes everyday. At this moment I can ensure good food for them and taking good care of them. I’m thinking of adopting handicapped birds from different breeders and taking care of them as well. If you have any suggestions to do something better for them pls do let me know. Thanks a lot once again for the concern.

Instead stop buying new one or don't spend for it, instead educate.
I know it's your hobby or passion. But as you said it's exotic, you came to know about it, saw it, liked it..... Isn't? Eventually ended up in pet shop buying it. Can I ask you how many local birds do you know, how many migratory birds do you care about? May be few, but if you learn and earn knowledge, by studing Ornithology may be you can save another one from dieing or killing by someone. There are many beautiful flora and fauna in kerala which are on the verge of extinction so how does this happens.
Afforestation, losing of natural habitat, no food, rising temperatures, more predators than before, or may be it's not secure, as before.
When you have your own garden with a lot of trees and plants and humble eco system you tend to give a chance to those birds to trust humans, or grow.
Also biggest thing, you pass on information, how..... There will be a lot of kids and neighbors wanted to know and inspired by you so natural there will be a natural instinct to save and help (especially kids must be induced). Ok.
2nd benefit you grow natural forest which will be very helpful in nature.
3rd birds doesn't only enjoy fruits but it's a mode of seed dispersal and so they will do the rest of the job of making forest.
Now let me ask you, are you inspiring humans to cage thier love by this video or God has given you this love for nature to destroy or nurture the wild......
Let me tell you am a big big fan of dogs, I used love all English breeds, huge and small size but because of my studies and nature of work from past 30 years I couldn't keep a single one so my option was naturally found local street dogs,so where ever I go I used to find one who may be dirtiest or most undisciplined but I realised love is same, they tend to give what they are capable(unconditional love) but never hurt me so I learn more about Indian breeds and local breeds which I feel are all season, low maintenance, less food and but the same love.... So it's not in the appearance , it's what is inside.
Bro, you are exceptional because we don't find this beauty in every human being so make it constructive.
Compare to you am nothing so kindly make a right use of ur inborn instict to love and love and only love.
Buddy I have seen your surrounding of your house seen not much big trees ok Miyavaki methodology is different try to learn, it's intresting.
Grow(also seeds throw it around) more fruits tree around or even in any barren areas.
Make many small bird cages and keep it in your home also give it to your neighbor and frnds you will learn more.
