Radiators also crack on 6.4s because the factory body mount bushings will wear out and compress and cause the body to flex from the frame, so that might also be a good idea to replace 🤷‍♂️

Nice work. The peep sight on that degas bottle is worth it. Mine cam with a slight leak when I first got it so I had to address that but after that it worked perfectly.

My radiator cracked on the drivers' side due to the fact the body mount bushing was worn out and the truck would flex and put way too much stress on that side of the radiator. Just a heads up guy for yall to check those body mounts.

This is now in my real time July 23 2024. My 08 Super Duty 6.4. With only 136K miles has gone through a rear main seal and are down a front plate Re&Re water pump etc... Stock Rad Re&Re and now a mysterious coolant leak. No sign of leak, drip, puddel, exhaust, oil, or coolant contamination. But it is low every day🤪🙄🤔

Man I been wanting to buy a 6.4 but I haven’t gone through with it yet because of all the nightmare stories I hear about them.

They can be one. They have pros and cons. A lot of cons lol. But they have a tough bottom end besides the pistons. And they have IMO the most capability to make the most power out of the powerstrokes so far. But a stock deleted 6.4 is hard to beat for just a delete to have the power they produce.

I just got one from a relative and it had 91k on it.
Has sat for years and I just recently got it back running.
So far I’ve replaced the batteries and alternator but engine is great and I’m super excited.

A lot of the Mishimoto stuff is just mass produced Chinese stuff with a overpriced tag attached. They do not manufacture anything.
