Gracias por compartir, tendrías que pasarme donde comprar las refacciones, saludos!!!
#41 was realy nice to Watch.
After this l might work some with my old Opel. Not the same brand but the tech is pretty much the same.
Keep up the good work Pexyz
Thanks Anders! Good luck with you Opel (and well done). It will soon be on the road👍😊👌 .
Serán los mismos frenos para el mercedes w111 ? El mío nunca los he limpiado desde hace más de 20 años
Very good video and explanation. Where did you buy the brake cylinders?
HI how did you adjust brakes shoes the friction washer and adjusting sleeves
just what the doctor ordered as i just bought a '56 190 :)
@@Pexyz - have not thought about it, but i might show it off once i get it road worthy. =)
@@Pexyz - will be bleeding the brakes tomorrow . . been waiting ages for parts, but finally they are installed - lets hope the master cylinder is up to par. was hoping to find a bleed video from you ;)
@@bobanofat2585 Sorry, my video is delayed, but will come. Hope you managed to fix the bleeding anyway. //Peter
Very nice work, also you have good taste in cars peter , maybe you should get a w116 to complete the collection.
Thank you Ibrahim! It's hard not to like these old cars, as I'm sure you know 🙄. A W116, yes why not. I've never had one so maybe it's time 😁✌ //Peter
I have a190d pontoon 1959 please let me know where to source the parts for the same
Hi good man Pexyz, do you have also a film about repairing the gear shift, i can not put the reverse gear.
Thanks Ali! I will post a video on gearbox and gear linkage later on. Maybe you have problems with worn bushings on the linkage. //Peter
You didn’t treat the inner brake dust covers! They get hammered by the weather. Clean, spray with rust converter (to make sure any rust remaining is ‘dealt with’, paint, _then_ rebuild the hub. You lose points for that, Penyz! 😠
(I can say this coz I’ve just replaced (what was left of) my dust covers on my ‘74 280E. 😉)
You can always find ways to do things differently or more thorough. I'm not here to gain points. Just working on my cars and enjoying them 😁👍. Congrats to a -74 280 E! I also have one, but a -73 👌
For the 280E, M-B specify the _amount_ (by weight) of grease that should be in the hub. Do they do that for the Ponton?
Thanks for posting. Do you have any more detailed videos about removing the brake cylinders?
Salve una domanda, ma a fini collezionistici è meglio la versione con motore diesel o benzina? Grazie
That's hard to say Andrea. I guess it's a matter of opinion. I prefer petrol engines myself and I think there are more models to choose from if you go for the petrol ones. 👌 Greetings //Peter
Where did you get new seals for the cylinders?
Hi Trevan, I got them from one of my suppliers. Do you need these seals? I might be able to help you. Greetings //Peter
My favorite kind of how-to "movie". Loved it when you flipped the switch on the boom box. Regrettably, vast majority of YT DIY video producers think we need to see their face (often way too much of) and listen to them drone on and on with unnecessary verbiage accompanied by annoying music. 19:04 Your bench grinder sounds like a two stroke engine!
Thanks, I'm glad you like it! 😃👍
