I think so but to be fair the fellow did not know much about turntables at all. I had to actually explain to him and his wife what anti-skate was. He also got fleeced by a local vintage audio shop who soldered the heavy duty Hi Def Video cable onto the turntable with no strain relief. They are a known bad outfit here in town. Since it is close to Christmas I thought I would help the couple out as a good deed for the season😇
I thought you repaired the counterweight post, that's the right way to do it just screw it on maybe you didn't do it tight enough use a nylon washer
