Wish there was an ankle rocker, but the retro cloth on this one looks nice. Sometimes retro cloth figures can be on the "puffy" side, but this one drapes nicely. Great review!

I think the mask and hood looks way better on this one than the actual ultimate figure
I’ve gotten so used to getting Ultimate figures from NECA that I rarely see Neca figures in their regular packaging. It looks odd to me lol.
This technically isn't the ultimate figure. There is an ultimate figure that will be coming some time in 2020 or 2021 and will come with 4 interchangeable heads (white mask, bloody mask, green mask, and cracked mask) as well as a bloody kitchen knife, 2 bloody hunting knives, a scythe, and a voice changer box.

Really nice of Surewin to send you this Retro before you can get it in your comic book store. I feel this figure is a step in the right direction from the older ones we received. Can't wait to see the ultimate version.

The 1st & 2nd Scream movies are tie for my fav. I'm very fortunate to have found this figure, and Marty McFly at Target before they sold out.
Recently I saw the new Terminator 2: Sarah & John Connor 2 pack. You should absolutely do a video featuring those. As well as the back to the future lineup figurines 😁

I think the Ultimate ghost face figure looks more like the one in the movie than this one
for a 20cm figure it is really well made and accurate to the movie, the hood is large like the real ghostface and the overall shape of the robe is mostly accurate (flaps arent tho), but the head is kind of strange, eyes seems too narrow and apart from each others but i guess this is to expect when you make such a small scale.still looks more accurate than dead by daylight skins
I don’t mind the eyes because they make the mask look like one of the Scream 2 reshoot masks that had narrower eyes
In the beginning scenes of scream 1, the mask is different, with the eyes being narrower and further away so I believe its accurate to the early scenes.
@@elderguard if you are talking about the KNB masks it was way goofier looking than this XD it looks more like the rds mask from scream 2

It’s a nice figure but I was never a fan of the head sculpt. The eyes seem too bulgy to me. I’ll personally wait for the Ultimate 👍🏻🔪
Its nice to see neca put a wire around face of the hood. Is there one at the back of the hood where you can point it down?
I got this figure, in the picture when buying it showed it was coming with a phone and I'm not disappointed that it didn't very great full they brought a new scream/ghostface figure out but would have been nice to have a phone come with it.

I agree you never see ghost face . With a phone in his hands so giveing it . A voice changer makes more sense in a way it's . Like someone finally paid attention to the movies. I seen all of the movies an my favorite as is . In most cases is the first movie because you don't know. What to expect since it's all new . Then if sequels are made you kinda know what is going to happen.
I don’t know if it’s just me but when I buy these NECA figures in these type of plastic packaging, a part of me doesn’t want to take the figure out the package. Then again I would love to have the figure in my hand and look at some articulation rather then just look at it from the packaging 😂😂😂😂

Just got this figure today. I love the bigger size and the robe over the Ultimate. Although getting it to stand is kind of frustrating. But I think this is the better figure overall.
With mine the feet were bent and no way it was standing on its own. Simple fix, heat the ankles up under hot water, bend and hold the position and run it under cold water. Its held position ever since
hi can you check if the copyright mark on the bottom of the foot says "ENCA 2019" insted of NECA. it seems other people have this issue to. love your vids btw
I’m on the fence with this guy due to NECA’s notorious…. “issues” to say the least. I found the ultimate version of the figure at my local Walmart… I hope it’s still there. As a 15 year old collector who gets figures with my monthly allowance, I don’t wanna get him outta the box try to put him in a pose and his arm snaps off, I’ve been collecting for about 2 years now and I’ve never had a figure break. Safe to say I’m nervous!
While I do think these retro cloth figures have improved quite a bit in recent years...they’re still not for me. This is one of the better looking ones though.
Would they ever do scary movie figures because imagine a ghost face because it requires very little new parts

Looks okay but 8 inches is too big so it looks out of place next to all my ultimate necas and the mask is still kind of off
I cant wait for the Ultimate Ghostface. Hopefully they finally nail down the figure and hopefully its not too puffy and formless with the cloth robe

Yeah now that you mention it I want to check and see for myself, but I know there were two Retro Cloth Ghostface figures released by NECA maybe you have the newer one that uses the new Retro Cloth bodies with the balljointed torsos? the older Retro Cloth figures didnt have that joint

They do, idk why they cant get the eyes right but nothing a steady hand and some black paint cant fix
In scream 2 he has thinner eyes but the others he has slightly thicker eyes so idk

@@litterallybrunoI just had a look at 'Scream mask 1996' and I can see the eyes are too narrow and spaced apart in the neca model.
Looks a lot like the mask used in the opening of the original (not an official mask seeing they made it themselves) and also has the narrow eyes, basically accurate to the first image of ghostface we see on film.
