Thanks for the review sir, just to check if all i want to do is have them on a timer, so open at 7 close at 10, is all that is required is the device itself and the app?
So you need a sb hub to have scheduled opening/closing ? And the robot itself only supports bluetooth not wifi?
I'm confused w it being able to move 15kg? So it rolls a curtain unlimited distance as long as the curtains don't exceed the weight of 15kg? Its ability to roll is not limited by the curtan's length but the curtain's weight?
I'm strongly considering purchasing these. The main thing holding us back are concerns around long-term mechanical reliability/function.
Are you still using these? If so, how are they doing 6 months later? Is the sound still what you described in this video?

Haha, he’s been in a few episodes now. Originally bought for my Aqara FP2 review (or at least that’s my excuse 😉😂)
Can it go over extendable rods that have dips in them? I've heard the last one can't?
According to their website it can - although we dont have any rods like that to test unfortunately
Just bought one. It goes over the extendable rods with an adapter piece. It's ugly, but it works.
Hmm you’re looking at around 240 quid to have this handle one set of curtains. Plus the hub is needed to use it with Alexa, that’s not a cheap solution.

I liked the previous version and hoped that v3 would come with HomeKit and Matter built in. But it doesn’t. ☹️
Yeah, you’ve got to use the SwitchBot hub 2 for the matter support.

I have a blind opener....raiser.....lifter....type thingy
Am i right in assuming this is £180 for one set of curtains as you need 2x motors (1 for each curtain side), if so thats a bit pricey??? are you all rich in Wales

@@StusReviewsUK Yeh, I will keep "Track" of it, don't worry, I will keep a "Header" of all this stuff and "Dressing" down will be needed later, I wont "Drop" my responsibilities and I always take a "Measured" approach without going off the "Rail" ...
I’m super annoyed I bought a pair of curtains 2 due to camelx3 notification of discounted price. The quieter moving curtain would amazing to have and matter support as well would be great.

@@StusReviewsUK your video was the first place I’ve heard about it. If I were to returned it to Amazon. Today would have been 30th day and last day to return it. Absolutely gutted. At least one positive is that they have yet to release the black version
Save yourself some money...just get up off your arse and push open the dang curtains.
Even better, if you’re insistent on carrier pigeon, driving your steam powered car to work and forcing your children to write on a chalk and slate… maybe don’t watch videos about smart home and home automation… but you do you! 👌
