Someone once said that Mono feels like you have locked yourself up in a small, dark room your whole life and instead of forcing you out, RM sits with you in that dark space like a true friend, holds your hand and waits for you to be ready at your own time to face the world once again.
Mono a masterpiece to me. I used to play it every single night before going to sleep. By the time the album reaches forever rain my eyes would automatically shut. The beats, the rhythm of the album and his lyrics just calms me down. It is healing. New armys don't find this album that easily. I love Indigo, but I fell in love with Mono the moment I played Tokyo for the first time. Truly a masterpiece. Im so thankful RM gave us such amazing songs 💜
This was a unpromoted mixtape. Free on Soundcloud although it is also on streaming. It did hold the record till just a bit ago for hitting #1 (as an album in itunes) in the most countries in the world of ANY album ever, even any BTS album. Taylor Swift just beat this record of Mono by 2 countries. There are plans to try and reclaim the record but FYI on 4 countries are left for him have them all (that are in itunes, ie 2 more for Taylor). Its such a damn masterpiece of art and mood. I love it and its so special I dont even recommend it to people because they will find it when they need it. I want a hardcopy of this mix tape so much. Little artistic touches like the way the beat in Seoul sounds like tires driving over the road. I'm seriously sooooooo sad that his first mixtape is only on Soundcloud because its all samples and they havent cleared the rights for them or havent tried. I know RM is now embarassed of his first mixtape but its also fantastic. I WANT IT ON STREAMING SO BAD!
mono is incredible! one of my favorite BTS "mixtapes." Namjoon is a poet, a soul growing into his life/art. as he sang to us, "you gotta be a human, before you do some art." Namjoon is one stellar human.

This album is one of my favs bts solo albums . I get relaxed evrytime i listen to it .I listened To this album in my lowest time last year . I kept going for walks and studying and even practicing sport . I never cried even tho i was hurt and felt hopeless . Now i can't listen to it without crying or feeling the urge to cry my heart out ...
Mono and indigo are my daily dose. Sometimes I don't need subtitles or understand what he is talking about when I'm tired RM voice is soothing enough for me 💜😌
