I don't think anyone except other Green Cheek owners can ever know how true this is. I like to think it's because they're so small, there's no room for both evil and kindness, and they choose to be evil since they know they are so pretty they can get away with it.

I wonder why the Green Cheeks have such a indignant personality. I've never seen such a tiny bird with so much confidence, I've never seen a green cheek be scared of anything.

He reminds me a lot of my male GCC Petey 😂. He has such an attitude and throws tantrums all the time, often making the same clicks and grindy noises. We have a lot of fun together ❤️.
Green cheeks are nippy little bullies. All parrots are selfish brats but green cheeks have a double dose of that trait. They require patient and careful training. They are also incredibly affectionate and loyal.
Awe our late Pineapple Green Cheek used to play with one of those plastic balls with the bell inside like that. She would bite it and toss it up! Also bite feet like that with her neck feather sticking out that way 😅😅 I miss her so much!!!
nice bird. i had one and he only liked me. and he had to sleep in my bed under my neck every night or he got depressed in the cage. they are very sensitive birds. not for everyone
Peer You should not have been doing that. Many pet birds die yearly from being rolled on top of while sleeping with a human, either due to suffocation or injury. If you get another bird, please do not do that anymore no matter how cute it is. Either way, sounds like a nice bird you had.
