That was a very lovely review. Yes MH cabins are mostly dated but the crew are some of the best in industry. Thankfully, they've ordered the A330neo, which is scheduled to be delivered from late next year to replace all their existing A330s. Looking forward to your next upload! Subbed!🙌🏻

Good review. I flew four sectors with them last year. They were very good. The cabin-crew, in particular, were very hard-working. I'm flying long-haul with them in March.

Good to know you liked MH. It’s often the cheapest option to get from Melbourne to India, so I’m glad to know that it’s a viable option, although the A330 puts me off, as opposed to flying the A350 with SQ or TG.
Hi there! Yes Malaysia Airlines is a fantastic carrier based off my recent experience. The A330 might be a bit dated compared to the likes of SQ and TG for connections to India but is still far superior to other carriers like UL. I hope you can try MH soon! Thanks for your comment :)
Thanks@@nilskyproductions. I'd booked a ticket with MH last year for $1700 return between BOM-MEL but ended up rescheduling with SQ (couldn't fly on the original dates). My aunt once had a bad experience on MH, not to mention the crashes, so my parents try to avoid MH even if other options are a little more expensive.
Nonetheless, I got my $1700 refunded within a few months, which is a huge plus in my book given that even airlines like Qantas would give you a hard time.
If I'm not mistaken, they sometimes scehdule the A350 to Melbourne for the summer season, so hopefully we can get a trip report from you in the future.

MH has never been unsafe just to put that on record, previous incidents were mainly misfortunes. as for their products and services as uve right stated, the hard products are in dire need of refurbishment. problem with MH still to this day when they upgrade their products it will be something which will be considered last season hence nothing revolutionary will be coming out of MH as long as the current management is in place. i think the mentality now is just to make sure MH still flies and not making loss
Hey mate thanks for your comment, much appreciate. I never said MH wasn’t safe. The purpose of the thumbnail was to refute the claims that it is, as per some of the reviews I illustrated on Trip Advisor and Skytrax.
It’s sad that MH has found itself in this predicament but I’d like to think about the way forward for MH. As an Airline it has been mismanaged and while the two incidents and Covid-19 haven’t done MH any favors, we can’t litigate over where MH has been, rather, the way forward.
It’s sad that the hard product is dated but it’s not the worst in the industry either and it is certainly a lot better than some products you find in Australia.

Thanks for the review .I used to travel with the frequently a decade ago. Although perhaps not up to the standard of Singapore Airlines , Cathay Pacific or Thai , they were still quite OK to fly with .Also , Kuala Lumpur was an excellent base to explore other parts of Asia .One day I'd love to fly their' business and try their' satays !

Malaysia Airlines is certainly alright but for the price is often times quite close to SQ. SQ is top of the world so its high pressure for MAS.
My MH flights in feb longhaul were far superior than my QR flights. Well done Malaysia Airlines 😊

I think MH is not so bad I fly Doha to Kuala Lumpur the Crew is really friendly and really good ……
The aircraft is almost 13years old. I think the IFE is somewhat in the beginning of touch screen era onboard. Thats why its lagging that much.
I hope for the new upcoming A330NEO, they will have modern and updated touch screen hardware. Or maybe not, i dont know.

Malaysia Airlines isn't a dangerous airline nor is it an unsafe one. Yes the tragic incidents in 2014 were unfortunate, but those two incidents were beyond anyone's control (unless you want to make the argument that MH370 could've been prevented if the Capt was kept on leave by MAS & was more heavily scrutinized with his personal life & mental health or if MAS should've closed the Ukraine airspace completely instead of keeping it partially closed). But that's been almost 10yrs ago, MAS since then hasn't had a major or fatal crash since then & I don't think they will have any especially with their all Airbus fleet & those aircraft especially having a very almost perfect safety record. Plus MAS has learned from their two tragic incidents & is even under new leadership
Hi there! Thanks for your comment and on-going support. Please allow me to clarify that I haven’t made any allegations that MH was ever unsafe to fly, rather, addressed the general consensus amongst travelers who are apprehensive.
The video goes onto illustrate and refute the claims of negative experiences with MH. That isn’t to say that MH is free from flaws, like with other airlines that fly into Australia, MH has much to improve on. Unfortunately, MH doesn’t have an All-Airbus fleet as you’ve pointed out. In fact I’d argue that the Boeing 737-8 is the stock standard, even being deployed as far as Perth.
I acknowledge that MH hasn’t had an incident since, however, hopefully you may agree as to why Travellers may feel this way about MH.
The purpose of this channel is to ensure that airlines are kept accountable for the promise that they make to you (a consumer), and to illustrate what you could expect when you fly with them. As such, I stand by the integrity of this trip report.

Generally Asian airlines have better catering....even European airlines can't match it
