Blakeley is truly beautiful. She thanks Jesus for everything. A new sibling, food etc. She is an inspiration to grown ups. She knows who Tim McGraw is who sang Humble and Kind. Most adults would not know that. And she likes Hawaii. Not bad.

It sad that you feel like you have to explain your parenting to complete strangers. You do what’s right for your family. My son was a fantastic sleeper, night, naps, you name it. Our daughter was NOT. She wouldn’t sleep unless she was touching her daddy and me. Feet on daddy, head on me. Wouldn’t nap unless I napped with her. She would curl around my head. Every child is different. Every parent does what works for the family. You’re doing a wonderful job with your children. ❤

Watching you fix Blakeley’s hair brought back memories and then tears. I so miss the days I did my little girls hair each morning (she’s 43 now) and then my little granddaughter’s hair (she’s 18 now) I’m just an old woman (72) that misses my littles! 😢

This is a replay with both my girls! They are 21 months apart and the oldest always slept with me, and the youngest always slept on her own. Oldest finally started sleeping on her own when she was 13😳 She is almost 18 and my youngest is almost 16. You don’t have to explain to anyone.! This is what works for your family!!! Just hope Blakley gets out of y’all’s bed before 13🤷🏻♀️🤣

You are great parents. And there is no question you love both your girls. With a 3rd one on the way, will this complete your family? Or are you planning for more yet? Blakely is a beautiful little girl. And she seems like a good girl. Are you considering breaking her if the habit of sleeping in your bed? Maybe putting her in her own bed and for the first few nights you guys switch sleeping next to her. It concerns me when a child is " between " mom and dad. Kids are so smart. And, they know how to manipulate coming out the gate. Just make sure you two are united when making decisions with her. You seem to be. And no, means no. I know it's hard, but it's love. And a child needs discipline so they know their boundaries.
