Out of all the images in Legacy of Kain I've seen in my childhood. The image seen at 2:49 has stuck with me the most. When I think of Legacy of Kain that image pops up along with Raziel revealing his wings.
This iconic game is underrated and it passes its time when it was released in the late 90s. Square-Enix & Eidos should re-release the game series on the latest consoles. Also, Amy Hennig really need to reconsider on returning to the game series and develop a new one. Or, at least Square-Enix & Climax Studios should work and polish Soul Reaver: Dead Sun.
Yes thank u for uploading this i liked this game when i heard about it on ps1 but couldn't get into it then it came out on the dreamcast and i was hooked. I love vampires and this was definitely the best vampire series ever!!! I wish they would give us an ending!!
@kestorz This is correct. Mobeius (sp?) told him of his future, although whether to blind him from the actual events, to make him despair, or out of obligation to a fellow guardian is unknown. Either way, Kain knew that the Elder God would remake Raziel into a Wraith to kill his Master; Kain lured the Elder God into unshackling Raziel from the Wheel of Fate, thus forging a new destiny which almost played out in Soul Reaver 2.
Honestly, if I was Kain, then I'd personally have NEVER trusted anything that Moebius told me. EVER. Because not only is the guy one of the absolutely best, habitual liars that I have ever seen in my life, he is also one on the most conniving, two timing, manipulative, conniving, assholes that I think I may have ever seen in my life as well. Even Kain himself, isn't anywhere near the level of being God tier class that Moebius is at in all those respects, and he is second only to the Elder God himself. And even in the rare event when Moebius IS actually telling you the truth, he is only telling you because he ot suits him in some way and he is most likely using the truth to try and manipulate you somehow, and get you ensnared in one of his elaborate schemes/plans he has planned out. Anybody that ever had any kind of good sense, would treat this guy the way you would an annoying mosquito buzzing around their head. You kill it, with extreme prejudice, forget about it and then simply go about your day.

absolutely -- it would take an eternity to convince him that he was to become a wraith blade ultimately to be used as Kain's right hand. And with the ripe jealousy every brother already had for each other, they would have torn him to shreds before ever realizing his path. A victim before his true martyrdom. No, I think it was best for Kain to cast him out, disappear from his empire, let it rot, then have Raziel consume his brethren to gain their strength before being the ample pawn needed to be subject to Kain's schemes.

If you recall, in the end Kain didn't want Raziel to become his sword but Raziel told him that it was as it should be and then Kain was able to see the Elder God and we got to kill it. By accepting his fate, which was something Kain couldn't do, Raziel was able to unmask the real enemy and 'thus defy the tyrannous stars'. XD

He was always ment to be trapped withen the sword, his coporial prison, and there is no way for anyone including Raziel to run and hide from thier fate. He could deny it all he wanted but the fact and point still remains nobody is truly free. We are all predestened we as a whole to live, suffer, die, and rot away. My view point and opinion, l'm entiteed to it as you are to yours.
