Personal experience- you can spin however you want, since the defender won't expect you to spin that's the point of spinning, however the more your opponent recognizes your move, you have to try more tricky moves with your spin otherwise they can predict if you're gonna spin.
Keep in mind the more advanced his comp becomes the more he’s going to need to be faster and smoother than the video just displayed. This video was how I was taught years ago as a child. The modern game is different. Such as when they used to tell us to align our feet towards the rim no matter what lol. Now every single shooter does and teaches the exact opposite.
Tips keep your foot together no to close just like when your standing straight and don't lean only use your legs to spin and keep your ball close remember don,t let your ball lose remember in a game always watch out
Ay I got a question so I was doing a 1v1 with my friend and I did this move where I dribbled and then spinned with two hands and fadeaway and I made it and he called a carry is that a carry?
He reminds me of that dude from that meme where he’s in the car and says “what would you do if you saw me at a red light” and lips his lips and all that cringy stuff
Thats a turn move old school style, they taught us this when we dribble up the court against full and half court pressure. Not a spin, its that bob cousy, john Stockton package move.

By the time I spin around and I’m not dizzy anymore, the guard is back on D. I get lightheaded easily fam, this a no no
If u getting lightheaded and dizzy maybe u shouldn’t be playin ball. Nobody wants u to pass out on the court g

well duh ts aint easy
Can you do this without dribbling or is it a carry
its a carry
You can as long as you keep your hand on the side of the ball as you spin I do it all the time
Also if just playing pickup a quick small carry shouldn’t matter too much
Wouldn’t make it a habit tho ofc

Your switching hands looks wierd when you do it slowly, and then you didn't even switch when you did it fast like you taught
