@@jacobjennings9476 Che was making a joke on how white Taylor is, and how a large majority of her fans are young white girls. And it was those young girls' fathers that were storming the Capitol because 99 percent of the stormers were very, VERY white.
@@jacobjennings9476 It's funny because Taylor Swift's fans are mostly white teenyboppers, especially leftovers from when she was more countrified in her music. That their fathers are more likely to be white and conservative (Trumpies) is pretty easy to conceive.
Them protesting over something as silly as concert tickets at the U.S. Capitol itself shows the frivolity of some folks' protests, which is analogous to the nonsensical coup attempt over Trump being a failure and actually losing after a pisspoor job in 2020.
There are parallels. Jokes aren't usually that complex.
Taylor Swift was not the direct subject of the joke, but her fans were, which made the punchline work.

Kenan Thompson is a comedy legend; his 20th season of SNL and he did a good job hosting the 2022 People Choice Awards. Also, it's been a while since 2018, Heidi Gardner's character Angel, Every Boxer's from Every Boxing Movie Ever return to Weekend Update desk for her 4th appearance.
