My Singing Monsters is a 2012 video game franchise developed by Big Blue Bubble and published by Canada Media Fund. The first game of the series was released on September 4, 2012 for Apple iOS. Ports of the game for other operating systems were later released, including versions for Android, Amazon Kindle Fire, Barnes & Noble Nook, and Steam. The game was also released on the PlayStation Vita portable console. Since its release, My Singing Monsters has grown into a multimedia franchise, with a prequel, several spin-off games, books, live events and series, and a board game. On May 12, 2021, Big Blue Bubble announced that the series would be releasing its first console title, My Singing Monsters: Playground, on November 9, 2021.

The monster handlers didn’t have to redesign the map again, but they did, because they care about their audience, something very rare in any gaming industry nowadays, not just mobile

1:00 this is when I remember first playing. I used to play this a lot when I was younger. Then I forgot about the game, and I rejoined when I choose to revisit some of my childhood games. And I stayed. I joined back right when they added magical sanctum.

0:24 this was the first map I remember. 0:55 was such an underrated map. pretty much paved the way for the one we have now.
I have never saw that version of that map before in 0:55
@@MSMthealtfire1234 I remember EVERYONE hated it when they changed it, but looking back it was pretty user friendly. of course there weren’t as many islands so you didn’t have much to maintain and check daily.

I remember the version 1.2.4 map when I first started playing the game. Back when it was just an Island Menu, then the map with the release of Wublin Island, then the carousel map we’ve had for so long, and now this new glorious map of the Monster World. Oh, the nostalgia!
And I have to say the new Map theme just makes me feel at peace.
Started playing during the 1.2.0 map. Wublin Island’s map is defenitely one of the more memorable maps in MSM’s history design wise. Paved the way for the donut map’s of 2.2.4 and 4.3
I joined my singing monster on 2016 the map was bequtiful and all it was a memory that time i was 5 yrs old very nostalgic.....but i deleted it on 2019 and played again 2024 it was diff3rent😢

0:39 this was the current map when I first downloaded the game. That period in MSM is nostalgic for me because I still vividly remember watching the tribal islands #playyourpart trailer and being so excited on what the heck that actually meant.
0:53 this one might be my favorite other than the current one. Idk why but I really like the outer space vibe and how the islands have their corresponding elements.

I started on Version 3.4.0. It's just amazing to see how stuff evolve.
And to think that this game started off with just _two_ islands when it’s in alpha (three if you count Air Island coming soon), and it would’ve ended with the release of Gold island…the game wouldn’tve lasted as long as it does now…11 years of still running, gaining players, working with frequent updates, and have over HOURS of content to enjoy, all in one game that was once as small as having only two islands to have their songs waiting to be completed, leading up to Air Island’s release weeks later.
I first joined MSM when it was in the midst of its hiatus of releasing islands, until the release of Celestial Island, roughly around 2017-2018 when Wublin Island is still releasing new Wublins every month, up until Celestial Island’s release.
