    This is such a helpful and amazing guide! So many of the mechanics are non-obvious! I never knew the probability of rolling each tier of animal is evenly split. In other auto chess games, they usually indicate the percentages somewhere. Also, I never noticed the underline underneath the animal to indicate temporary buffs 😯😯

    Its crazy how i picked up on some of this stuff playing on my own, like temporary buffs or summons. yet there was a lot I didn't know like turn order and how the pill actually just makes them faint before battle starts (i thought it applied after the turn ended so i thought it was just useless lol).

    Combining 2 level 2 pets can be specially useful with some effects compared to simply getting one pet to level 3, a good example is the blue fish: you get the level 2 buff for the whole team twice and the level 3 one once, the only downside is that you cannot buff the animal you'll put in that spot afterwards, but you'll greatly buff the rest of the team.

    For the turn order of the parrot: it copies the ability of the friend before him (right side), but he can not copy an ability that triggers before or after the fight like the girafs buff to the friend ahead, because the parrots ability only activates after leaving the team-menu in wich animals like the giraf have already played their power.

    Holy shit effect turn order being decided by attack makes so much sense now for priority when two honey badgers KO each other-im assuming in that instance that the lower attack badger is actually the one that wins, since the higher attack badger hits nothing and spawns a bee first

    • @BlueberryPieper
      @BlueberryPieper  Před 2 lety

      as far as I know, faint order is determined by the LOWEST attack unit activating first. so if two honey badgers face off and knock each other out, the one with higher attack wins. the weaker one activates its effect first and spawns the bee, the stronger one kills it.

    • @killerblue
      @killerblue Před 2 lety +1

      Faint order is weirdly determined by the highest attack, since although the pets seem to hit each other at the same time, the game still let's the higher attack pet hit first, which makes the lower attack unit die first, which then triggers their ability first. Then the lower attack pet will attack and trigger the higher attacks ability, which is now the 2nd triggered proc, making it the second one to actually go off.

    • @BlueberryPieper
      @BlueberryPieper  Před 2 lety

      @@killerblue this is true, but i think they are going to patch this out in the next patch (it is on the test build now), so that faint effects trigger the 'same time'. i think what this means is that both animals that faint will trigger their effects first, then summons and other things happen - so two honey badgers that knock each other out would result in a draw

    Is it possible to guess what animals apear in the next team-menu, or when you roll?
    I often get opponents that have animals against me, that I think are not possible to have in round like 2 or 3, but it happens a lot, while I most of the time get stuck on low animals, and only get the better ones at the end of the team-menu. Or maybe I am just bad at deciding what animal to keep and what to replace it for.?
    Or at the later round my oponentes often have insane stats on their pets, or have the best combinations... Do they just get more lucky than me, or am I really that bad at understanding the game?
    I see you get 10 gold each round, so you can up to 3 and roll 1ce. By selling a pet it might get you enough gold to buy 1 more or have an extra roll. But the pets that appear are so random, I usually get a good combo when it's already to late.

    • @BlueberryPieper
      @BlueberryPieper  Před rokem

      no, outside of the mechanics that are already in the video, there's no real way to predict what animals you will roll. It's up to probability, tier 6 animals will always be rarer because at round 11, because the pool of animals to roll from includes all tiers. You can guarantee a tier upgrade if you level an animal up, but that's about it. Choosing when to keep an animal or when to replace them is the tough part of the game and takes experimentation and practice!

  • @stefanrabenstein3753
    @stefanrabenstein3753 Před 2 lety +1

    The last formula for merging animals looks a bit suspicious. You are saying if I merge a 6/6 animal with 1 experience and a 5/5 animal with 5 experience, I will end up with a 7/7 animal with 6 experience (higher stat + lower exp)? I had thought it would be a 11/11 animal with 6 experience instead (each combined stat being the higher of the two combinations of one animals stat and other animals experience). Weird, I guess I'll try it when I have the chance to make sure.

    • @BlueberryPieper
      @BlueberryPieper  Před rokem

      I'm not sure either, I don't think it's the health or the exp of the pet. It might just be random, but my best guess is that it just goes from left to right or right to left, depending on which player is processed first in the game code.

    • @BlueberryPieper
      @BlueberryPieper  Před 2 lety +2

      30 hp or attack at round 6 is pretty extreme, they'd need pretty good luck for that, like a duck build into level 2 dodo?
      duck strat is quite popular these days where you run 5 ducks on turn 2 and sell them all to buff your shop on turn 3. You can get 3 animals with +5/+5 on turn 3, and if those animals happen to be a dodo or a dog that could scale up very quickly.
