I want to see the sandwiches! I want to see you try the sammies!
Wow! Love that old building and the food looked great!
It was so special!
It's so lovely to see you enjoying your food without having to worry about whether you are stirring the tea correctly.
I watched a few videos on the subject of afternoon tea etiquette and they were so intimidating.
Thank you 🙏 🙏
Thank you, Julie :)
The sandwiches and cakes looked really good.
They were excellent :)
:) :)
@@TamiDunn I worked just over the road when you came. Hope you enjoyed Stratford! Did they tell you about the secret passageways in that building? ;)
This is my cup of tea! What an adorable, historic looking place! And what yummies! Thank you for sharing!!!!! :0)
You are welcome! I would go back for sure :)
That looks like a pefect afternoon Tea!
I will never forget it!
What an adorable afternoon tea!
We agree with you!
I just wanted to let you know that I went to Hamleys Toy Store today because of your vlog. I had missed seeing it on all my prior trips. It's amazing. This afternoon it was absolutely mobbed. They know how to market. I loved the Steif Bears.
I'm so glad you went! It's enormous!! We could have spent an entire day in there.
Thank you Tami and Kevin for another fun video. What was it like? I've never had English Tea. What was it on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being best?
For me, it was a 10. I have never had a real tea before, so this was incredibly special for me.
Thank you for the link Tami. I hope you guys return soon
I hope so too!
Looks lovely might have to give it a visit next time I'm in Stratford upon Avon how did you like the scones and cream? thats the best part for me :)
Everything tasted wonderful!
this is so cool!!!!! I love tiny sandwiches and cakes
Thank you!
Yay! I've been waiting for this, I'm a connoisseur of afternoon tea!
It looks like you had a really good traditional one there, the cakes looked gorgeous. One question though..... did the cream or jam go on your scone first? It's a hotly debated issue here, and I'm a fan of jam first. Did you like it? Afternoon tea is just so evocative of home to me 🇬🇧
I am almost positive that we put the cream on first. This will be a memory that will last me a long time. It made me so happy :)
That afternoon tea looked so delicious. I looked online and can find only one place(hotel) that has afternoon tea, but it is nowhere near as fine a menu as you enjoyed. All the same, I think i'll check it out.
You should! This was such a wonderful experience :)
Doesn’t look really posh. Kinda rough looking food. Should be a little more refined. Thanks for sharing. Did they have Halo Top on the menu, guys?
Do they pronounce scones like that in England? I say it like "cone" with an s in front. That's the only way I've ever heard it.
Yes, they say it the way that I did in the video: czcams.com/video/iJPh7F_QYtQ/video.html
It depends what part of the county you're from. In the south they would pronounce it like that, but in the north they would say it as rhyming with 'gone'.
Tami Dunn gripplehound excellent! Thank you :)
+tortellini Afternoon tea is the best thing in the world! It should be eaten at a leisurely pace, and is a beautiful ritual that should be treated with the reverence it deserves. You can't be in a bad mood when having afternoon tea 😀🍰🙏🏼
People from the south generally pronounce it rhyming with cone, but in from the north and the majority of people pronounce it rhyming with gone
How it come. tea rooms and coffees.
There is a music school in USA. The t. His .

Food looks great. The rooms are depressing. Too heavy. Although authentic.
It is you that is depressing, not the beautiful character of the old building. Perhaps some cheap 2nd rate public house is more too your liking?
Words fail me.
That’s a really crap afternoon tea. Presented like slop. Zero finesse. I’m glad I didn’tgo in there.
You missed out! It was our absolute favorite Afternoon Tea and we even had tea at Kensington.
