Looked it up and was corrected by seeing it was actually Glenbard West that was the location for many scenes for the 1986 film "Lucas". Reading on I also found out about this documentary series. I was born and raised in Lombard in '87, and never knew about this. Id love to watch it!
my gosh, how almost all white that HS was back then....glad to see my country has diversified. when I went to College of DuPage. in the same town,it was very diverse,and I prefer that.
I went to Glenbard West around this time. Hearing those harsh Chicago accents again is like music to my ears.

Yes they filmed Lucas with Corey Ham, and Charlie Sheen. This was my graduating class! It was on TV.
Sorry not at Glenbard East they did the film at Glenbard West. There are four Glenbards.
this HS is in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, where College of DuPage resides also, where I graduated from nursing school.......
I've mentioned to people having this filmed while going to West, seems only those of us who went there remember it.
