  • The Tapcooler Counter Pressure Bottle Filler is the ideal way to fill bottles directly from your forward sealing taps without compromising your kegged beer’s flavour, aroma or carbonation levels. This Compact Counter Pressure Bottle Filler plugs into beer taps with a 10.0 mm inner diameter and by simply attaching a CO2 gas line to the filling unit, users can easily purge air out of the bottle with the Tapcooler’s push button valve and fill carbonated beverages under pressure from their keg systems.
    Tapcooler has an adjustable pressure relief valve controlling the pressure inside the bottle and thus the filling speed. How fast the bottle can be filled without too much foaming depends on CO2 level, beer temperature and bottle temperature.
    Tapcooler fits Ultratap, Vent-Matic, Perlick 600 series and Intertap. These fillers can be converted to fit Perlick 500 series with optional tap connector. Cannot be used with ventilated beer taps, i.e. not forward sealing beer taps.

    Bought one of these the other day and am patiently waiting for it to ship so now I'm just watching videos of it taunting myself until it arrives. Thanks for the great video! Awesome demonstration.

      Thanks for that Jordan. You'll enjoy the filler. They're really handy for bottles and growlers as well.

    looks nice, only thing that I don´t feel comfortable with is, while having to push the bottle against the rubber seal, won't you expect your draft tower to loosen through time?

    You explained all the intuitive parts of the filler, but what's the PSI on your primary regulator connected to the keg, and what's the PSI of the regulator attached to the Tapcooler device? I've tried a few different variations and cannot stop getting a big initial burst of foam when I pull on the tap

    Yeah! Science!

    This is an interesting idea; I prefer to use growlers when I bottle; Not sure how the wider mouth would work with this ...? Also I didn’t hear you mention to sanitize the dip tube before you put it in your sanitized bottle (no brainer, but still :-))

      When you flip through the photos on the product page you'll see how to use this as a growler filler for pressure filling. You're simply going to swap the standard silicone top for a silicone bung.
      When filling large mouth containers or growlers, a bottle stopper of suitable size with a 9mm bored hole may be used in placed of the silicone bottle mouth seal. To fill our Ultimate Growler, simply swap the silicone stopper on the unit for our 36 x 45 bored silicone bung.

    I use 1 liter flip-top bottles exclusively. Is there plans to support that size in the near future?

      Simple. Attach a short tube at the end of the filling pipe.

    Once it bottle, how long can it last before the carbonation gone kind of flat?

    • @Keg-King
      @Keg-King  Před 3 lety

      If bottled underpressure, the carbonation will last for years. But, let's face it, we're not going to be keeping the beer for years really in most cases and most beers aren't worth ageing. Big beers like Barley Wines, Old Stock Ales, RIS, Imperial Porters and Quads are worth keeping and putting down for a while because they'll evolve and mature. Pilsners, IPA and weaker beers are better fresh.

    Do you er to adjust your keg pressure down when doing this or do you just leave it let’s say 12 psi as you would for normal poring out of the tap?

    • @Keg-King
      @Keg-King  Před 4 lety +1

      Missed this one. Sorry. Yeah, we don't adjust the keg, leaving it at serving pressure (11-12psi)and put the gas line onto the pressure filler at the same psi from the same regulator.

    Does this fit on the Nukatap SS?

      No idea. You could always bypass those taps with the Tapcooler Beer Valve Keg Connector...

    "So we're filling up in a nice aerobic condition" XD

    • @Keg-King
      @Keg-King  Před 4 lety +3

      He says a nice 'anaerobic condition' which is the correct term for without oxygen. All your processes down stream from pitching should be anaerobic until the beverage meets the serving glass.
