I have soooo much Mandala yarn in so many colors and didn’t quite know what to do with them to do (for my pickiness) the colors justice. Thank You for giving me the perfect pattern for ALL of them! I know there are thousands, but I just wasn’t ‘feeling’ them…. Stay Well and Thank You!
@@marshanotmarcia7433 so glad you like this one!
I know a sweet lady that would easily fund something to do with all your excess Mandala's... I sent you my new address right ???? 😂 😂 I'm joking ... well sort of lol😊
So excited that you used Lion brand mandala. I have a few of them and wasn't sure what to make. Can't wait to make this baby blanket. Thanks 😊

@@jodycanfield6229 So glad this worked well for you!😊❤️
@@BonnieBayCrochet I finished it last night. Really beautiful and can't wait to see my grandson in it.
Just stumbled across your video this evening. Was so intrigued by this blanket I had to go find some light weight yarn and start the video over again. So, now I am 10 or so rows in. Had never done front post/back post stitching. Really enjoying the process. Have ordered a few of those Mandala Bonus Bundles for future Joseph's blankets. Will be watching more of your tutorials looking for new afghan patterns/stitches to try. Thank you so much for sharing!
So glad you like this one! Welcome to my channel!

OMG, Bonnie! this os absolutely lovely😍. and definitely one to make for my new great-grandaughter.
thank you for sharing this lovely pattern.
@@tilly221 my pleasure! ❤️❤️❤️
Babies will love the texture!!
I agree! Texture and color are very good for babies!
@lorethadixon I have had vision problems for over 60 yrs, so I use my fingers to assist me in counting stitches and rows. Here’s my workaround for basketweave patterns: I curl the fabric slightly backwards so that the row ridges of the back-post stitches are more prominent and easier for my fingertips to feel. Then I count as my index finger & middle finger “walk” up the ridges in the fabric, and reach up slightly diagonally to catch the next pair, or block, of backpost stitches. If the pattern has 3 rows before changing, I count as I use 3 fingertips; for 4 rows I use 4 fingertips. This method is not as fast as counting visually, but I hope it is helpful for you.
💕
I really love this and have literlly dropped my other wips...there are a few 😂...and am now halfway through making this for my nephew due next month. Itw wirking up beautifully and I kove that its reversable too. Thank you!!
So glad you are enjoying this one!
❤I just seen your video this is nice pattern thanks
This is beautiful. It's not hard to do. Can you keep going with another cake or would it skew?
@@maryballard5952 you can keep this going as much as you wish in pattern stitch and it should be fine!😊❤️
Nice blanket. Why do you put half double crochet in the corners? 🤔 Your tutorials are soothing to hear.
@@PeachesCream-hh8mz I actually tried double crochet during the designing process but the blanket quickly becomes misshapen.
@@BonnieBayCrochet I must thank you for responding to my question.
@@PeachesCream-hh8mz my pleasure! I can’t do what I do without support from folks like you!😊❤️
Beautiful as always.I watched you count rows in FP/BP sts. I cannot. Is there a tip you can give for counting these rows. I put st. Markers every row to count.
