Dear fans of Gotthard and of Steve Lee
Regarding my CZcams video
People keep asking me, if I recorded the whole show of the concert of Gotthard on July 17th 2010 in Lugano/Switzerland.
The answer is clearly NO.
I only recorded and edited those short segments with a small camera, from an angle directly in front of the stage. The purpose was a video coverage about the Swiss Harley Days 2010, for my personal memory.

Having just discovered the late Steve Lee and Gotthard here in the States, I find it hard to believe these guy's were practically unknown in the US... One of the best rock bands ever, fantastic lead singer. R.I.P. Steve Lee..

As an American musician., lead guitar player., I can tell you, I've never heard writing over here like this. I am completely blown away that I never got to see him. His lyrics are just never to be matched again. Then the voice that delivers them. And the band. This album is about the most perfectly mastered album I've ever heard. Everything is at the right volume at the right time. Bass is perfect. Drums., keys..

Boy I sure miss Steve Lee and his terrific vocal talent.
while i like my country, there's very few special things coming out of it when it comes to music and art for some reason. but steve lee without a doubt was one of the best rock singers of all time. i don't know many who had such a god damn fantastic voice. and the musicians are absolute bomb too. the songs they all wrote together definitely and without even a single doubt belonged on the world stage. rest in peace.

2024. I've loved classic rock my whole life (I'm 70 yo). I have several favorite lead singers. Although Steve wasn't as well known, he's definitely in my top 3. Our loss is Heaven's gain.

Hola, realmente lo era. Al menos le vi en 7 ocasiones, a veces 2 días seguidos. Me veía a mi y mi pareja en 1era fila, y lógicamente se acordaba, solo habían pasado 24h, o menos. Y nos sonreía y apuntaba con el pulgar hacia arriba. Veia nuestra fidelidad y esfuerzo, pues no menos de 300 klmtrs, de Ciudad a Ciudad en España. G. ❤
