What's impressive with Filipino rappers is they can actually sing.. As in saaaaannggg. Other international rappers, they usually need a singer and a collab artist to sing the chorus part or the melody. But with Pinoy artists, they can be the rapper at the same time the main vocals. Efra's right, they're like tri-athletes. 😂

They're the Filipino version of Bone Thugz & Harmony. Inozent One can be compared to Krayzie Bone while Blingzy One can be compared to Bizzy Bone. They can sing very well but they can also spit hard hitting bars. Kindly listen to "Legion" by 187 Mobstaz. They belong to that group. They came back on that track. Juan Thugs & Harmony took a break for 8 years and still nothing has changed. Mad respect to both of you and what you do. Salute!

Trivia: Tagalog is actually written as is pronounced (and vice vera) and the pronunciation is based on syllables.
Interestingly, the easiest way to learn Tagalog is to chop a word into 1 - 3 letters (usually a V, CV, CVC where V is vowel and C is consonant) to form a syllable. NG is a special case because it is considered one consonant.
For example:
BAKIT's syllabication is BA-KIT (cv-cvc)
NGAYON is NGA-YON (cv-cvc)
KA Is KA (cv)
LANG is LANG (cvc)
That is how kindergartens are taught.
They will be reciting BA, BE, BI, BO, BU then KA, KE, KI, KO, KU (we dont have C in Tagalog Alphabet) and so on... thereby allowing them to familiarize with all CV, CVC combinations. All tagalog words follow this syllabication.
Additionally, we only have 5 vowels (and vowel sounds) so we dont get confused how an A should sound because it always sound the same in any Tagalog word. The E and I are sometimes interchangeable as well as O and U.
We also have just 14 consonants. B,K,D,G,H,L,M,N,P,R,S,T,W,Y
All in all, the ancient Tagalog Alphabet is only composed of 17 letters. E and I as well as O and U are written using the same letter.

A is pronounced as A in apple /cat (not A in same/dare or call/mall)
E is pronounced as E in electric / better (not e in 'east' or 'see')
I is pronounced as I in Indian / initial (e in 'ear') (not I in idol)
O is pronounced as O in open
U is pronounced as U in super / duo ('oo' in book) (not U in 'supper' or 'Utah')
A rapper friend of theirs did a reaction and said that whenever the group of rappers hangout while some do freestyling these two would be on a videoke singing.
Their songs really hit back in early 2010's. We didn't hear from them when late 2010's to early 2020's. Thats why they said they're back. They performed two songs on wish. One is this and one is titled "Pasalamat Ka, Mahal Kita". Hope you will react to it also soon.

People only witnessed how they deliver a love song. They also need to watch on how they do underground rap music and they will see how flexible Juan Thugs is.

Filipinos have a hard time distinguishing the difference between dialects and languages. Even now, there are still Pinoys who thinks that Ilocano, Bisaya, and Tagalog are merely dialects when in fact, it's a language on it's own.
And even if the national language of the Philippines is Filipino, when asked which language we spoke at home when filling up forms, majority of us would put Tagalog and any other languages.
I don't think people really put Filipino as the language they speak.

Tagalog is really special and flexible you can write a whole song and add or exchange 1 or 2 syllables depending of how you wanna play the melody and still keep the sentence makes sense
