    Here in WA State, rear mounted takedowns are quite common on law enforcement vehicles - particularly Sheriff cars. They use them for when reversing down dark rural roads and logging roads where the vehicle back up lights don't provide enough illumination. So yeah, mounting these on the rear deck of a slick top does have its place in certain situations.

    Great video and review thank you. Interesting point on side window mounting could be used as an alley light type configuration for my unmarked. Dual purpose. Looks bright. Happy new year.

    We've had folks ask use about the LR11 Take-down's and why they don't flash out of the Package. With the AVN2LR being based as a 12Volt Plug-in Product, having a Plug that can accommodate 3 in-set Switches would be a bit to bulky for most Vehicles. There is also limited space on the internal control board. In applications where the 12Volt plug is being removed and the Dash Light is hardwired to a Controller or Switches, we have seen folks tie in an auxiliary LED Flasher- such as Whelen's ULF44. By tying in an LED Flasher with Flash and Steady ability, you can then gain the ability to Flash the LR11's as a pair and still use them for Illumination as well.

      Seems like a waste of big $$$$ when you have to wire in an additional flasher for the takedowns to flash.

    The only way I would ever buy this is if the take downs flashed in a warning mode. Why don't they? If they flashed along with the primary lights that would be awesome & a major attention getter! :-)

      Agreed...why they wouldn't design the takedown lights to flash in warning mode is beyond me. Definitely a deal-breaker, there's no way I'd even consider purchasing this product.

    I wish they would make one like this but with the trio in it like having the whelen avenger trio and lr11 in one light so you could have take downs and the alternating colors all in one. +sirennet you think they ever would make one like it?

  • @publicsafetylightsaustrali8590

    Could use them set up as reverse lights if on the rear of the vehicle or rear work lights, very neat dash light

    Chris, love the video's. Ive looked everywhere for one of these, amber/ amber...
    Are these still available ? And whats the price if so ! Thank you sir..,

      @SIRENNET  Před 2 lety

      Sadly it's not. The Avenger II Series mixes linear and LR11 styled reflector sections, but doesn't function or perform at the exact same level with more powerful dedicated take-down's.

    • @SIRENNET
      @SIRENNET  Před 2 lety +1

      We might be wrong, but to our remembering, AVN2LR's we're only available in mixes of Blue, Red, or White. Amber wasn't an option.

    How is both Warning and Takedowns lights through tint?

    • @SIRENNET
      @SIRENNET  Před 9 lety +1

      The warning modules and LR11 take-downs will work well through tint; but do keep in mind that the tint will effect the output depending on how dark it is. If it is an OEM level tint, then the Unit will have a nice impact. If it is very dark limo tint, then you may want to cut out the tinting where the Avenger would be placed.

      @Jshreve24 Před 9 lety

      Okay! Sounds good! My factory tint is 20% with a strip in the windshield and front windows as well. Definitely looking into buying 2 or 3.

    • @SIRENNET
      @SIRENNET  Před 4 lety

      We hate to say, but sadly the Avenger with the LR11's is no longer available. The new line of Avenger II dash lights is available in Dual & Tri-color models. They offer a full White override of the whole light, opposed to the separate LR11's. The lack the ability to flash warning colors and burn White for illumination simultaneously.

    Are you aware of any mounting options for this light other than suction or direct drilling like a visor fitting type braket? I could not find one. I would think something like that exists for a product that is meant to to mount in the windshield?

    • @SIRENNET
      @SIRENNET  Před 7 lety

      Sounds like the AVNBKT3 visor mount bracket could work for you. Please email our Sales Team and they can get you updated. They can be reached at: info@sirennet.com. Thank You.
