- Fireflies have been and will always be my favorite song. When fireflies was made in late December of 2009 I always enjoyed listening to it when growing up and now in 2023, being a 17 y/o, listening to it over and over again, it never fails me to gain nostalgia from it. Fireflies is like that song that brings magic and innocence, like we were when we were just kids and have nothing but full of imaginations and stuff which is the reason why I was heavily inspired by Owl City so much because it brings magic in life and it feels like it brings hope which I intend when I'm making music. This remix is basically an Owl City tribute and I hope you guys enjoy :)
