- The month of May’s prompt, a slow stitch covered box, is finished! I also share what treasures I keep inside.
Here is a link to how the fabric will be applied to the box, which may be helpful to those who’d like to cover an existing box with fabric.

Thank you for watching!
🥰 Beautiful box. Lovely work.
Cute little grandson wants to play. Beautiful memories. 😊
Thank you so much, Vanessa! We played Garfield monopoly! My little grandson has autism and the one on one time we spend together is very important to him 💙
I just love that! So beautiful 😍. I had never heard of cigarette silks before. I went on Google and read about them and saw all the collections. They really knew how to market things back then. You'd buy many things to complete the series. Remember green stamps? You'd buy the products that offered green stamps before any other product. . My mom got some really nice things from saving green stamps. Companies don't market that way any more. Thank you for sharing your art AND history lessons. 😊
Thanks very much, Patty! Yes, marketing was very interesting many years ago. The cigarette silks were such a beautiful bonus. Feed sacks were marketed also with that little incentive for buyers. My Mom collected Green Stamps too! I can remember her glueing them into books! You’re very welcome and thank you for watching 🥰
