Strange how in Archie Comics, telling Sonic that he has reached his limit triggers him.
Whereas the IDW Comics(especially the Scrapnik Island 4 part comic issue), when Mecha Sonic Mk.II told him the same thing, which Sonic calmly responded with: "That's the thing about limits. They are meant to be broken."
To be fair, in Archie the situation was more tense and serious than in Scrapnik Island. Eggman basically toyed with Freedom Fighters, mentally tortured Sonic in that issue, to the point of Sonic finally snapping.
In Scrapnik Island Mecha wasn't sadistic like Archie Eggman, hence Sonic was able to keep his cool.
Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Seeing the flashbacks of Sonic’s past opponents send chills down my and Goku’s spine, showing that Super Sonic is not someone you should take lightly.
Goku's already decided to be serious. Now he needs to be on his game and do it carefully, as Super form is a whole other kettle of fish.

He’s the reason for DBZ and the reason we have super sonic, and potentially the Sonic franchise itself.
The creator of sonic and db were friends. And sonic was heavily inspired by him. Rip Akira. I hope the creator of sonic will do something to honor Akira sensei.
Actually Sonic would still exist but as a very different franchise. He was made to compete with Mario and originally he was meant to be a blue rabbit. But yeah, thanks Toriyama for helping to inspire my hedgehog hero.

Best honest depiction of how things would go. Sonic isnt by no means weak, hes punched and kicked Dr Robotniks mechs without spin dash or Using chaos gems. If anything, its because of the amount of rings hes collected over the years. But hes not punching a SSj2 hard enough in a powered up base. Thats the "i can fight all day" form. Definitely emerald time after that.
Wow the voices for both goku and sonic are so fitting.
I liked the part at 1:38 where Sonic realized the mistake he nearly made. He was about to do a fist clash but then at 1:39 he said:oh wait. Then he switched from right to left and then at 1:40 he said: ah! there we go. 😂

Sonic still has 3 other forms that Goku has no idea about. Goku’s aware of Sonic’s Super Form, but he has no idea about Dark, Hyper and the corrupted Super Form, Fleetway.
Fleetway Super Sonic is a whole different continuity and Dark Sonic is weak compared to other forms.
This is Game Sonic. Besides his Super form, his Hyper form will be used but his two forms from Frontiers are ruled out.

Sonic doesn't have fake chaos emeralds or a motive to use negative chaos energy to turn Dark.
The Super Emerald vessels are in a different dimension, currently out of Sonic's reach.
Fleetway Super Sonic is a self manifested demonic creature that spawned in Sonic's body out of chaos radiation. Fleetway Super Sonic isn't a form Sonic can freely transform into. It's a whole different beast within the body of a whole different Sonic.
Okay the animation and effects are just one a whole other level big respect to the voice actors who made Sonic and Goku sound incredible to this is amazing cant wait for more !!!

There’s an element to Goku being so freaked out by the scale of the enemies Sonic has fought and defeated as Super Sonic that he tried to interrupt the transformation, the very thing he scolded Android 17 for doing against Universe 2 in Super, that I’ve hardly seen anyone talk about.
Perfect Chaos, Dark Gaia & the Egg Salamander all made Goku nervous, but the one that truly caused him to panic was Solaris. Why? Because Solaris at it’s full strength was an all-powerful, omnipresent being that had the potential to wipe out all existence by destroying time itself, something very similar to Zamasu’s final form where he merged with the fabric of the universe to realize his twisted ideals of order and justice. Like Zamasu, it took sacrificing a whole timeline to stop Solaris in the end. But unlike with Zamasu, Sonic (along with Shadow and Silver) was powerful enough to destroy the mad god of light and time without needing to summon someone like Zeno as a last resort.
This dub is wild! Great job making this video part 2! 🤩

I actually doubted Sonic would have an upper hand for THIS long in his base form against Goku, but considering all of his adventures and experiences he had gone through, maybe it wasn't surprising. Anyway, I can't wait for the future vioce acting! Awesome work!

Man I am LOVING this! I really like how this comic shows the strengths of both Sonic and Goku, with Sonic obviously being faster and barely tiring while Goku continues to show his genius in fights. Can't wait for the next chapter! Sonic here showed he's somewhere between SSJ1 and 2 at this full power, but with how powerful his Super form makes him, Goku would most likely have to skip SSJ3 entirely and go straight to SSJ God/Red. Seriously looking forward to the next one. Voice acting, Editing, and SFX were amazing too.

If I had some complaints it would be two minor ones. So the first one is that I wish that you had use Solaris’ Roar when Goku saw the vision of Solaris. The second one would be I wish that for when Sonic turned Super Sonic at the end you hadn’t use the Orchestra version of All Hail Shadow since it’s Shadow’s theme and Not Sonic’s, maybe His World, It Doesn’t Matter or Open Your Heart would’ve been a better pick.
But those are just minor complaints, You guys still did phenomenal!

As a DB fan, I love seeing Goku fight people from other stories. It's seriously the coolest thing! Great job on this comic dub!
What's cool is that Sonic is fighting Goku in his Saiyan form without having to go super, and if this was canon, his normal speed and strength from Frontiers can possibly match Goku.
I would also say they are evenly matched in their Super 2 forms (like Sonic's second form in Final Horizon), both look the same as their first forms, but more powerful.
What I think is most interesting though is how Goku sensed the aura of previous monstrosities that came from the power of the Chaos Emeralds, Solaris, Dark Gaia, and Perfect Chaos.
They aren't. Any power scaling suggests otherwise. Also sonic doesn't use Starfall in any of the parts that are currently out

Can't wait to see the next part you guys do. This was so cool liked how you added in screams of terror in with all the big bads Sonic has fought. Worked well adding to Gokus feeling of shock and fear. Now I'm curious if Goku would sense Perfect Chaos and all them. If the tid bit that is out there anything to put to this were in for some real fun soon.
