Considering the struggle that Carlie & Jackson had to get pregnant, seeing comments of being disappointed that it's a boy, is absolutely disgusting. If you are one of those people, I sincerely hope you never have children tourselves, unless you decide grow the hell up before you decide to do so. Congratulations on a HEALTHY baby boy! 👏🏼
That's a little harsh, don't you think? Someone saying that they are disappointed that it isn't a girl doesn't equate to them disliking the prospect of a boy. Some of the comments are over the top, yes, but I imagine the vast majority are only "disappointed" because they knew that having a girl was something Carlie had particularly hoped for. The intention behind those comments isn't as loathsome as you may think, and those same people you've admonished are all probably immensely happy for the family and excited by the news of this future baby boy.

Top sheets trap the germs so you can wash them out. The dirty duvet that wasn't protected by a top sheet, doesn't get washed as often and has more germs buildup than the sheets. So If the duvet is dirty you need a clean sheet next to you as well.

I love top sheets...and usually kick off the comforter lol...plus it's actually cleaner to use top sheets bc you usually change them more than you clean the duvet cover or comforter

Congratulations! A little brother will be great for Cooper. Yes, use a top sheet. A top sheet can be easily washed and a bedspread/comforter is difficult. They are also softer usually than the top covers.

The top sheet is to protect your blanket,quilt or comforter from your body sweat, oils etc. Its more germy not to use one! You can't wash your blanket, quilt, or comforter every time you change sheets! To be the most hygienic use a top sheet!

Congratulation!! I was so excited for this video to come up. I am never a person to comment on video but after reading so many hateful comments I felt like I need to say something. As a women who has been TTC for almost 2 years I enjoyed so much of this video and loved all of your ideas. Parties never always go as planned and you know you will look back in 5 years and laugh about it and be happy how it all workout. Carlie you should not have to be bullied or even feel like crap with the gender of your baby. You know that saying if you dont have anything nice to say you shouldnt say anything people should mind their own business. I really hope you continue vlogging this pregnancy because I enjoy watching it. I can see true love and excited that Jackson and you have for each other. I am glad you dont show the "perfect" life on camera you show the real you. I will keep y'all in my thoughts and prayers. Again congratulation on Baby Boy Woods whatever you name him will be special.

There are so many boys in the family lol I'm DYING for Kayli to have a girl. All the recent kids have been boys
Oh Carlie this is a marital debate that's probably been going on for generations of husband and wife 😂 I know my own Mam & Dad had the same debate. Unfortunately I lost my argument 30 years ago with my husband. He felt the same way as Jackson does.
He said that:
1. top sheets are a nightmare and old fashioned
2. he couldn't stand his feet being pinned down! Especially if I tucked the bottom of the sheet under the mattress to stop it trailing on the floor
3. the sheets would wrap around his legs through the night and he couldn't move
4. He also felt suffocated by them.
As you can see he whinged a lot about them. But, None of this happened to me. I personally felt that they saved the duvet cover from getting dirty quicker too, so I still, to this day, put one on our guest bedroom bed, then when I get company, I only have to change the sheets and pillowcases when they leave after a weekend visit. Obviously, if it's a long stay, the duvet cover gets washed too, but It saves me so much hard work when it's a short break!
But I think you'll lose that argument with Jackson cos believe me if he's anything like my husband was 30 years ago, you'll do anything to save the peace. Do you know, he even wanted me to cut the sheet in half and have it only on my side only, then he threatened to sleep in the spare room until I removed it (childish or what?) But he made his point, because one night when I came to bed, I discovered him folding the top sheet over to my side of the bed. In the end I just removed them from our bed totally. Even my sons hate them now and they're 27&28, so it definitely must be a man thing. I started finding their top sheet at either the bottom of the bed or on the floor. 😂 so good luck with your debate.

My eldest Adam is an April man, he was also a Clomid baby (Because I had to take Clomid 30 years ago too, because, I had fertility problems like yourself. I lost 3 babies, twins and a single child). My son is a kind, loving, caring and giving human being. He's selfless and kind through to his bones. In fact he announced that he's changing his career, at 28, he is going into paediatric medicine. So, Let's hope that it's an April trait, or a Clomid trait. But beware Carlie, when I went for my 6 week post baby check, I discovered, I was pregnant again with my 2nd child. I blame the Clomid still being in my body. Mind you, I also blame my husband for not keeping his 'bits' in his pants for a wee bit longer, lol. I was in so much shock. So, There's actually only 10 months between my sons. 😬👍😱. It was Hard work but it was fun. So try to keep your hands off Jackson after you have your son, or you might find yourself in the same boat as I was 28 years ago 😂 good luck once again!!

Well they can always be wrong. They told my cousin that its a girl for all time of her pregnancy and at the end she gave birth to a boy.
This just makes me so gosh darn happy!! It's incredible that even with such low chances of getting pregnant that Carlie and Jackson had, they still did, two times! Though the miscarriage was a tragedy, this baby boy coming along so soon after with a 1% chance truly shows how much they deserve this💙💙💙 ahh can't wait to meet him
