It's worth pointing out that most of these aren't real matches. They are training sessions. They're teaching him. They're allowing him to do things that they would never allow in a tournament match

Notice all the arm wrestlers are focusing on their hands, grip and strategy when to strike. It is not about just strength...it is also technique and strategy. Amazing stuff.

Proof that arm wrestling is more tendons and ligaments (and technique of course) than pure muscle. It takes several YEARS to build up the tendons and ligaments.
When I saw larry vs levan it literally seemed like a mountain is extending his hand and arm wrestling with larry!
Levan is such a rare specimen to watch... One of a kind!

Some of these comments are completely ridiculous. „No real strength“, „gym muscles“, „steriods vs real strength“. WTF. First of all everyone uses steriods. Period. Second, Larry is insanely strong. For example he deadlifts 930 lbs for 3 reps! It‘s a different sport …

On one side, It's good to feel the hands of many top athletes. On the other side, Each of them taught him different things and different training which caused him confusion and slowed his progression. If he took the advice of only one of them he would get much further and maybe win more.

Not to take anything away from Larry, but most of these videos are not competitions, they're mostly training sessions. The "pros" are allowing Larry to take certain positions they wouldn't allow him to take in a real match. They are teaching him. They're not going for the pin, they aren't trying to win. They're giving him a lot, they're allowing him to put them in bad spots, and then trying to dig themselves out of the hole, while explaining to him how to stop them, having given him those advantages
This is super interesting actually. Can you give us timestamps of when a pro does exactly this? o.o
@@normalman23 Michael Todd is allowing Larry to take hand control positions and then allows Larry to open his wrist, while explaining, even correcting him on how to press instead of pull in that situation. Devon Larratt is in full sensai mode there, isn't offering any offense at all, he's simply resisting Larry, teaching him how to make adjustments. It's most of the videos there

Michael Todd strictly relies on that bone lock
But he needs to enforce perpendicular muscles in forearms, to give biceps possibility to work further. All of them are very strong, but stwitch off biceps work, first of all, as their 'forearm-elbow-shoulder' constructions make a lot of consolid tight vibrations, relaxing biceps. It happens because damages of biceps are connected to statics with static fingers, mostly, as biceps can't reallocate enforcement from string 'in danger' to another one.
Same happenes to legs. So you need to work out calves with dynamic degree changes. For perpendicular flows enforcement. Or be aware of hard load. And fast. Like extreme running.
- As for forearms - rotations are good, but biceps blocks efficiency. With all these static things as well. So you need to make it more same giving more freedom of upper connectors by moves of back.
He already improved, after that Denis sparring, Denis gave him the assessment that his biceps triceps deltoids and forearm was already strong, but it was his wrist and fingers that lacked the power, he worked on that and has now won some local tournaments in the US
