Shastri died in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (then Soviet Union) on 11 January 1966, one day after signing a peace treaty to end the 1965 Indo-Pakistan War.[54] Many among Shastri's supporters and close relatives, refused at the time, and have refused since, to believe the circumstances of his death and allege foul play.
He was the only Indian Prime Minister, and indeed probably one of the few heads of government, to have died in office overseas. The monument of Shastri and the street named after this significant personality are placed in the very centre of Tashkent. This is the place of visit of Indian travelers and businessman visiting the capital of Uzbekistan.

Lal Bahadur Shastri went to Tashkent to sign the Tashkent MoU to end the 1965 war with Pakistan. At that time, he was well, but immediately after that on the night of 11jan 1966, there was sudden news that he had died of a heart attack. The interesting thing here is that on the same night just before the signing of the MoU, he made a call to his family and said that he would be meeting someone special...he further said that back in India he would make a big announcement.....it is said that shastriji met netaji in Tashkent....a lookalike of netaji was seen standing just behind shastriji in the video which was shoot during the signing of the Mou....later via comparing the faces of netaji and that man, a britisher said that it was none other than netaji himself.
The death of Netaji and Shastriji are preety much connected to each other...if we are able to crack the mystery behind one of their's death, then it wouldn't be hard to crack the mystery of death of the other person
Deepanshu sir please pin me, I want everyone to know this truth

@@prashantshinde9380 aabe tune kaha se history padhi hai.. whatsapp university se??? Mai yeh nahi kah raha maratha bure the but...From 1741 to 1751, the Marathas under Raghuji Bhonsle invaded Bengal six times. The first one in 1741, as also the third in 1744, were led by Raghuji's general Pandit Bhaskar Ram Kolhatkar or Bhaskar Pandit.reported in Burdwan Kingdom's and European sources, the Bargis are said to have plundered villages and Jan Kersseboom, chief of the Dutch East India Company factory in Bengal, estimated that perhaps 400,000 Hindu civilians in Western Bengal were dead owing to the invasion of Bargis(maratha cavalry)..
According to the 18th-century Bengali text Maharashtra Purana written by Gangaram
They shouted over and over again, 'Give us money', and when they got no money they filled peoples' nostrils with water, and some they seized and drowned in tanks, and many died of suffocation. In this way they did all manner of foul and evil deeds. When they demanded money and it was not given to them, they would put the man to death. Those who had money gave it, those who had none were killed.During their occupation, the Bargi mercenaries of the Marathas are said to have perpetrated massacres against the local populations. According to estimation of Chief of Dutch Factory Jan Kerssebom's memoirs perhaps close to 400,000 people in western Bengal and Bihar were killed. Contemporary accounts of the invasions report mass gang rape against women and children, and mutilation of victims by the Marathas which included cutting off their hands and noses.

A genuine suggestion from your subscriber deepanshu bhaiya... I observed many times that you've deep interest of History and how things happened in previous year and mostly your destination choices are based on that also.. and many times you're giving us that historical knowledge also.. but I think due to travel vlog this is limited up to a certain limit. so can you just give details in the description section about what movies are linked with this places or what blogs are related to these places so that we can understand more about those places too also this will include lot of history lovers to your channels too.. because this is never done by anyone till now :) and yes a big thanks for sharing knowledge through vlogs.. keep travelling and we'll keep supporting you too:)

Shastri Ji's death did not happen in a hotel. He was staying in a private rented bunglow(dacha) along with other senior Indian diplomats. So you have to find that bunglow, if it exists today.

Shastri ji was purposely kept in an official bungalow which was almost on the outskirts of the Tashkent. In addition, Shastri ji's official doctor on duty was given the room at considerably long distance from Shastri ji's room just to avoid the assistance in an emergency.

Visited Tashkent in 2016.. it was a group tour from Delhi. Was pissed off with the way they handled it. Uzbekistan is sadly emerging as Thailand of Central Asia due to the country’s ways to lure spending Indian tourist through these belly dancing packages. I will visit Uzbekistan once again. Thank god I could see Samarkand. Glad to see deepanshu there. Someday we will meet. My channel may also grow thanks to that!
