Wonderful event on raga Darbar and Nayaki. I would personally request Dr. Charulatha Mani to consider to include the ragas- Bhegada, Bhilahari, Nattaikurunji, Keervani,, Suruti in her isai payanam which is truly a isai payanam for every radical like me. By following these Isai payanam programs, one can become a fairly knowledgeable person in carnatic music. Thanks once again to Doctor's efforts in taking us in her Isai Payanam.

Beautiful exploration of the raga Durbar😍. Enjoyed it thoroughly.....I was eagerly waiting whether you'll address the main differences between Durbar and Nayaki and there you stated it very clearly 😍😍.
Lots of love ma'am. Please continue this series further. When you establish the ragam, the raga devatha appears before one, which is a moment of happiness for rasikas and Carnatic music enthusiasts like me.
There is a malayalam film song based on this ragam, where the main raga signature of Durbar is established in the pallavi line itself- G2G2R2S-N2N2D2P-G2G2R2S....
    Song: Paadi thodiyiletho.....
    Film: Aaram Thampuran
    Music: Raveendran
    Lyrics: Gireesh Puttenchery
Singer: K.S Chitra (female version), K.J Yesudas (male version)
