Yeah i wanna know the same thing i hate colored hose or black hose cant tell if gas in there or not!i like the clear as well but is it rated for fuel?snookie pa.i heard best to just replace petcock rather than just hoses!!
yep you're right the clear plastic vinyl tubing (from Home Depot) is NOT fuel rated. I've used it for years on seadoos, dirtbikes, cars, trucks, snowmobiles, always worked good for me, i like to be able to see the fuel flow. And yes replace the petcock if you can, i just was impatient and wanted to get on the water that day so i just changed the fuel hoses hehe.
i just bought them at Home Depot "clear plastic vinyl tubing" in the plumbing section, but they are NOT FUEL RATED. I've used them on everything, seadoos, dirtbikes, snowmobiles, they've always worked good for me, i like to be able to see the fuel flow.
Exactly what I was looking for, I use the Tygon fuel lines on all my sleds and pwc's.
Thank you for the tip man, I just picked up a 96 for a "will it run with minimal cost" so this will help me 🦾
Thanks for this video, super helpful
Glad it was helpful!
