Good stuff! Have you gotten roger beep 7 and 8 to work? I played around for hours and 7 and 8 don't appear on the radio menu at all. Max on radio shows 6. I even made the most basic roger tune, uploaded and no option for 7&8
Never tried but if radio has only 6 options then I think that's all we can get.

I have the QT60, which is the Radioddity version of this radio. I also have the programming cable from Radioddity, but there is nothing on the Radioddity site for the QT60. Is the Anytone software the same?
They have software for it on there website. Go to support then radioaddity then others then choose QT60 and 💥 software download with manual download will pop-up. 73.
Pity the weather channels cant be changed.....
So if I buy the radio I would have to buy the computer cable separately. Correct! With CB channels is it plug and play or is the software required to use as a CB 11 meters
check one of my first videos. you have to convert to the
cb. easy. Cable is sold separately, not regular USB cable. Has to be cable specifically for this radio. I would encourage you to go and buy Radioaddity QT-60, it's the same radio different company with better warranty terms in USA. Get from a good source if you want radio untouched. If your mind is set to buy one my good friend Scott's Radios sells them. Check his CZcams channel. You can buy from other sources if you like just make sure the radio wasn't open and returned, lot of them are messed up by people and returned back to stock. Major pain in ........... 73
Your saying if you mess up the software in the radio from the PC, you can then do a reset from the radio to bring it back to factory settings? I would like to see that in your next video.
I was talking about a factory reset. If I change channels, freq, Roger beeps etc with software from PC I can go to the radio menu and do a factory reset, that's what I was referring to. Radio has that option. I think it is under menu#23 then you press All. If you mess with the engineering menu and you like to reset that then there is no option like that. Let me know if I understood the question. 73.

I have this radio stopped tx out of no where could this problem be firmware issue? Tried different microphone still no tx 🤔🤔
Not sure what to tell you. Should work with original microphone. Mine working fine over a year already, no issues.
kept getting the Windows doesnt recognize.. turned out to be the wrong cable for my radio!! got the correct cable, plugged it in and windows recognized, turned on radio and no problems, reading and writing! and the wrong cable is what they sent with the radio....
😳. Good to know that the radio is still good. I was always wondering what would happen if the wrong cable was plugged into the radio. Glad you got the software running. Thanks for sharing. 73
Are you saying that if you use a regular cable, something happens to the radio? does it have to be original cable?
regular cable as far as I know won't work and I saw some comments somewhere that may cause some issues, you need to get a programming cable for that radio made by any company. As far as I know programming cable has some kind of circuitry embedded in it to make radio and PC work together. If someone knows more and reads this please explain and advise.
A "standard" mini USB to USB A does not have any circuitry, just a straight run. The REAL programming cable does have a communication chip circuit that provides data transfer with the proper protocol. I bought the 16 dollar ASIN B01N7OFAT5 and it DOES work great....

You can use it for 10 meters if you like. That's what is designed for by the factory. Most radios have it to program the frequency etc on the PC. 73
@myszaca you can always clip the white wire inside and more the jumper diod over and it goes to 27mhz
