I just lost my baby brother last week & I'm not gonna lie I have been depressed about it. My thoughts have been extremely negative. My ex-wifes life is going extremely well, but my progress has been horrible. Then I wake up & Shaun posts a video like this. Thank you for this video. I changed my mindset after my divorce. Almost 2 years later I got a smaller place, go to work to fund my business, when I don't have to work for someone else and just me is what I want.

Thanks for this video. It’s hard to stay positive in a toxic work environment but it’s important to keep thinking positive thoughts because the way things are aren’t the way they’re always gonna be.
The reason I truly enjoy your content Shuan is you keep it real. No sugar coating, just logic/facts brother.
I see my goals and the endgame, though I will say from time to time I find myself saying it's not going quick enough. I sometimes forget to trust the process and start think where I once was (Negative), instead of focusing on this is all temporary. Rome wasn't built in a day. I'm not happy with my living situation right now as I'm having to start over again after having my independence for so long. (But it's not forever), but I'm working hard to get back to where I once was a year and half ago.
To answer your question of why I go to work every day.... Because I want to be better at my job, I want to be a valuable asset, so I can set the price (Standard) of what I want to be paid. Most of all so I can grow my career in IT after making a career change late in my life. To make money to where I can live comfortably and do the things I want to do.

Think of it this way - if you spend a tremendous amount of time thinking about something positive, you will in turn also be planning how to make this thing a reality. You will also be opening yourself up to finding more positive experiences. On the other hand, if you think a lot about negative situations you will be less inclined to make a positive change.

My dream has always been to have my own manufacturing company. But I have a new dream as well. It is to help young people who have been put at a disadvantage having had fucked up parents/upbringing. I know a lot of those beautiful young people now because of the volunteer work I've been doing these past several years. THEY have become the catalyst for me to finally get my ass moving. I am now finally taking the steps to building a solid foundation to start my manufacturing company. I know that it will be a lot of work. Wish me luck!

I realized I was a negative person because of all of the hate I receive in my life and now I’ve turned to god completely and he’s given me strength to stay positive.
