I was driving home from work in the middle of this storm. Absolutely terrifying seeing people screaming and running for shelter because it came out of nowhere. It was a completely normal day and next thing you know, pitch black and high winds. Office buildings and restaurants opened their doors to let people in. I honestly should have just pulled over and gone inside too because it is nothing short of a miracle that I made it home safe.

      Bless you 🙏🏼
I was leaving the elevator in the medical center walking to my car in the garage you’re right it was like night and day. Walked a few feet and saw darkest coming, high winds and then the rain came. It was a mess. I just jumped in my car and waiting until the weather subsided. Like literally no time to really think. I couldn’t imagine being on the street or highway during that moment 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Praying for Houston & surrounding areas.

It literally came out of nowhere. I drove to work. And then 10 minutes later, within less than 2 minutes, the sky was green, i had 2 tornado warnings on my phone and then extremely heavy winds and rain I couldnt see through. I was actually nervous that my car was going to be swept away with me in it. Truly crazy situation. I was between two warehouses, about 20 feet in between them. That probably lessened the winds against me but it was still bad. Im glad it wasnt worse or lasted longer. That was around and 290 and 610. Right in the middle of all this. I'm also glad I had already made it to work. I'm back home now with no power but no damage to my apt thankfully.

Been in Texas most of my life and I've never actually had to deal with a tornado. The "extreme" warning/alert text they sent while everything still felt normal was so scary because I don't know what to do in a tornado situation! Like hurricanes, flash floods, extreme heat - i gotchu! but a TORNADO!?
I later drove to get food since my powers out and boy, nearly every road (mostly excluding highways) had some sort of hazard. I'm genuinely not even overstating, it looks like we just went through a hurricane in so many different areas
