Why all the fees ? Even in the usa i dont see people fharging all these fees , people in DR are very sneaky when it cones to charging
What are you comparing it to? Have you built a house in the U.S.?
Canada has the same fees. They fall under "development fees". The only fee that was new to me was paying the College of Architects for the plans.

Hey Leah, thanks for the informative video. I am from the US but have lived in the DR for five years and am hoping to make my budget work to build a small home
I watched almost all of your video a few days ago and finished the last couple of minutes today, but i can't recall if you said the price per m2 included mano de obra as well, or not... No, Land was purchased 3 years ago
Canadian here ! Bought property in the DR 2 years ago ! Big headache so far ! Most of the stuff / materials are a lot more expensive than US or Canada! Also trying to sell your property can take years if you are lucky!
