Cerf pored on the compliments for an airplane saleswoman on another show where he said she was the most beautiful woman ever to be on the show. Gloria's extraordinary good looks have to do with her other job as a model.
Aside from the classic beauty of this goat and sheep rancher, my Dad met another rancher in West Texas as a kid (pun intended). This rancher had a BBQ and had three tubs of meat, pork, beef and goat. Everyone was eating the beef and pork and no one touched the goat. My Dad peeked behind the barn and noticed that the rancher was onl roasting goats and put them into tub labeled beef and pork. No one noticed.
She probably back then wore blue jeans and a tee shirt or over shirt to be a rancher in 1959. My mom wore slacks alot back then. Women who were outdoorsy did not run around in shirtwaist dresses all of the time.

Bennet Cerf authored and published a number of popular joke books back in the 50's and 60's. He also published all the Dr. Seuss books. I remember a cartoon in MAD magazine, poking fun at Bennet Cerf. They had a shelf of "The World's Thinnest Books" and one of them was "Actually Funny Jokes From Bennett Cerf Joke Books."
I have eaten almost everything there is and goat is tasty.
Goat is actually pretty good meat, much like lamb.
She probably back then wore blue jeans and a tee shirt or over shirt to be a rancher in 1959. My mom wore slacks alot back then. Women who were outdoorsy did not run around in shirtwaist dresses all of the time.
