Could you please do an updated version of this since there have been soooo many products that have come out over the past year for SPF reapplication products & tools & methods?!?! There are now so many setting sprays, rehydration sprays, powders, cushion compacts, & sticks/balms! I would love to see a video comparing all of these for each skin type.

Why would some people tell you that are using a too big of a brush to apply powder SPF ??!! 😡 Errr they are not the expert here! Dear Abbey, you carry on sharing with us just the way you do things and we should watch and take on board, not criticise 🙄 just ignore them sort of negative comments 😛 You’re amazing! 🥰🤗 and very knowledgeable so don’t ever doubt that 💪🏼
Suntegrity is and will always be my go to for physical sun protection/priming/moisturizing I have dry skin and the dewy and matte formula both work amazing. These are tinted but not light where it does nothing but not full coverage, it’s a perfecting look and it’s so easy to reapply.
I didn't hear you talking anything abt gel-based sunscreen, when re-applying over makeup🥺 I'd wish to hear your thoughts on this type of sunscreen as well, as this one is transparent thus leaving no white cast, and claims to be more lightweight. I'd like to know how does that one perform over makeup, whether it lifts, rub off or move around some of your makeup products etc..
I used to use the Physicians Formula SPF powder for a long time and I had kinda forgotten about it until now. That’s a very good powder that I would use with or without the SPF. I’m gonna purchase it again after watching this. Thanks for another great video! Your recommendations are some of the most trustworthy on CZcams because you are so well-informed and unbiased.

Very helpful! I don’t wear make up on my skin, so reapplying isn’t a problem for me. I only wear powdered eyeliner and fill in my brows. I also have an oily T-zone, so sometimes will opt for powder, over reapplied SPF.
Abbey Yung I’ve actually been using the drmtlgy tinted spf as my primer, but I think I need something to help with oiliness in my t-zone and to blur pores.

I own the maybelline spf 50 and it is matte on me. Problem is how it works when reapplying throughout the day since it's in the medium to buildable coverage side and I would love for you to test it out!
Random but have you ever gone to see an esthetician/facialist? I’m really intrigued but I feel like they all use products with fragrance and essential oils. I wish fragrance/irritant-free was the norm for estheticians :(

What do you use to clean your foundation brush and how often do you clean them? Do you use the same product to clean that brush as the brushes you use for powders? Thanks! 🙂
I just drop the liquid sunscreen (ISDIN), "warm" it with my fingers, pat it along my face and neck and if I look too shiny I just wait for it to absorb and pat a liiiiiiittle setting powder (rarely do this) I really don't mind mi skin to look dewey.
I always worry with powder also that the brush takes off the base sunscreen and possibly removes more spf than adds - how do you deal with that? Also, I think the revlon colorstay and Maybelline outlast 3-in-1 are fragrance-free matte foundations with spf (though low-ish)- you should check them out!

I use a cushion and spray SPF on it then pat it on my skin. Really like it. Only found 1 SPF setting spray that is not greasy!

I've been using the physician's formula forever! I love it!!! I use two different ones, and mix them together.

You should try one of those silicone sponges. You can easily clean it. And it won’t absorb product.

What kind of primer are we talking? I’ll do some digging 🤔 I think SPF is such a good primer because most dry down slightly tacky!

I actually use the Australian Gold tinted sunscreen as my primer and it works great for my oily skin because it has a mattifying effect!

I’ve used a variety of things! Bar of soap, baby shampoo, Parisian spirit. I try to clean every 2 weeks

If I have makeup over top the base spf that doesn’t worry me! Also, the patting motion vs. dragging helps! Ohhh good to know 😊
The sunscreen powders that come in a brush are horrible applicators! I repackaged them also...🤗

That’s another option! But it is the trickiest to ensure even coverage, so not my top recommendation!
