Band BIO:
Polyphia is a primarily instrumental progressive rock band based in Dallas, Texas that formed in 2010. Polyphia first achieved mainstream success when the guitar play-through of "Impassion", from the EP, Inspire, went viral on CZcams. The band continues to grow in popularity and have gone on several national tours sharing the stage with the likes of progressive metalcore giants such as Periphery, Between the Buried and Me, and August Burns Red.
FUN FACTS about band:
- Tim Henson and Scott LePage grew up just minutes from each other.
- During their first headlining tour, Polyphia, solo metal act Jason Richardson, and math rock band Covet were all part of a video and interview by alternative press.

Even the video is a flex. I'm pretty sure it's not monetized. Must have listened to it 50+ times and never seen an ad.
Crazy thing is its a classy flex. Showing off, but always putting the song first. Masterfully put together. I've been playing for 25 years, and it took me a couple weeks to really get down the main riff. So unique and original. I'm both inspired and defeated by Polyphia.

My favourites from Polyphia are probably The Worst and Goose but those two don't have a high budget video like O.D. for example. Most of their stuff is just amazing.. and each song is different! You can't guess what's coming!

Probably the best reaction to this song I've seen so far. The joy, man, the joy was on the screen. Polyphia was the last band I saw live before COVID hit. This is just very, very, very sexy music.

Seconding Ichikoro, especially the song Enemy. Ichika is a monster on his own, but him with most of Gesu No Kiwami Otome is just unbelievable.

I was wondering if you guys will ever do a reaction to this song. My favorite part is the bass solo section and a lot reaction videos over look how amazing that drummer is. He is basically a human click track for everyone else. If you watch the live version, you will see him hit his sticks together sometimes to keep everything in time.

Sometimes the music draws a plot in my head at once. I felt the development of the plot and drew in my imagination a picture of a blockbuster. Something important is about to happen... I waited. This feeling did not let me go until the very end. It seemed to me that the work was unfinished. It's not enough for me!!!! Nothing, dear, I'll finish the ending in my head. I don’t think Tim changed the pick up position as stated at 7:50. Pick up selector stayed in the same position and he’s claimed to mainly stay in a neck pick up position.

Also I don't think he's actually changing the pickup position, most of the song it's played on the 4th position towards the neck to give that twangy sound combined with that pushed clean that they have, that run by itself it's difficult AF I challenge you to learn that and play it clean on time, ok maybe not.
